Chapter 15

At some point during the procedure, the hands of his family had been taken away. He felt lonely and cold without them. Unsafe.

His hair had changed color too. It was now white. The stress and pain took a major toll on his body.

He stood up from the chair. He swayed a little bit as he did so. "I won't let him hurt Takahashi or anyone in the League!"

"I don't think you have to worry about that," Garaki said happily. "I'm sure his only target will be the students."

Shigaraki thought back on how Satoko had tried to stop Dabi from hurting that student. (Takahashi...don't get in my way!)

The past couple weeks, Satoko had recovered. It has been pretty much not been very eventful. With her mending her wounds, the League of Villains advised against any activity for her. Specifically Shigaraki and Dabi were against it.

That she needed to be well for the next thing at hand. Whatever that was.

Not only that, her mental state wasn't the greatest since her family's demise. Yes, she hated her parents, but there was that guilt.

Her sister's face haunts her before she had died. Yes, it was an accident from not knowing how to control her quirk well.

In secret, she had Toga and Twice helped her practice it better so that wouldn't happen again.

Ever since her talk with Dabi, he was eerily quieter than usual. The only times she really saw him was when he went to go steal food or drinks for her.

One thing that kept nagging her mind was All For One. She wanted to talk to Shigaraki about him and what she does know.

It's decided. (I need to tell him.)

When she went to go look for him, he was nowhere to be found.

"Huh?" She raised an eyebrow.

Dabi spotted her looking around. "If you're looking for Shigaraki, he should be back soon."

"Huh... I haven't seen him for a few days now." Her eyebrows furrowed. "Was he gone this whole time?"

"Off and on," he replied. "When he has been here he's mainly been staying in his room. Probably pouting about something, knowing him." He scoffed.

"It's a bit suspicious that he's gone..." She looked concerned. "I wanted to talk to him about All For One. I'm worried about him."

"Why do you care about him so much?" His tone was full of some hidden emotion threatening to bubble to the surface. He took a few steps towards her. He was showing no hesitation at all. It forced her to step back as well until her back was pressed against the wall.

He got pretty close to her with one hand against the wall. For some reason, it made her heart pound. Not in a way she was afraid.

She looked away. "I care about everyone. I just have a bad feeling something might happen to him."

"It's not your problem. If anything happens it's his own fault." His hand that was against the wall started to heat up from his anger. It wasn't on purpose as he had no intention of hurting her or it. It was more of an instinct than anything.

"What's your problem?" She felt the heat wave. "Why are you getting angry?"

Dabi's nose wrinkled slightly. "It doesn't matter. Just stop babying him so much."

"It does matter to me to know." Satoko retorted.

She didn't budge where she was standing. She can feel his breath against her. There's that indication he wasn't being threatening towards her. Not even doing this to bring her harm.
