Just then I heard a voice. "Come child, don't give up." A fair voice said. I lifted my head up to see the magical pool ahead. "Yes come child come. Come. Come." Voices of fair ladies began to chant this in my head. It was the royal line of the gifted. Suddenly a spark lit inside of me and my hope began to return. "Ah the pool is already calling for you." Alliakin stated. "Traitor. Disgrace." The ladies growled in my head. I smiled at this. I broke from my guards and came to stand perfectly straight in front of Alliakin and pulled the arrow out without even flinching. This shocked the men and they stepped back while Alliakin's smile only grew. The fair voice hissed as this. "Destroy him! Make him pay for tapering with the blood line!" My eyes soon lit with fury and I stepped towards the pool. "Drink!" Alliakin demanded. "No!" The voices commanded. I stopped and waited. A calmer voice continued. "Bathe in the pool my granddaughter. It shall wash away all the damage he has caused you. Heal child." All the voices agreed, "yes! Heal. Heal." I ran and jumped into the water. The last thing I heard was Alliakin scream, "NO!"
The water was cold but pure like the stars in the evening sky. "My dearest child. It is true a curse has been placed upon you." My grandmother said as I sinked further down. "Yes" a older voice agreed, "a great and terrible curse created by my brother ages ago who's legacy is now with Alliakin. This curse comes to those who are at times of peace. My brother wanted war and discovered how to turn us into weapons." Other voices hissed. "I myself had this curse, I killed many lives and caused a war within my own kingdom." She sighed but continued. "You are the most powerful one of all child. You were born under the great even star, the star of which our power originated from. This is why is the cruse only made you harsh and not a weapon." My grandmother now spoke. "You must remember again my dear. Find Legolas when you wake. Matches of the gifted have the power to withdraw the curse. Stay close to him. We shall remain with you to guide you until it is finished" Other voices began to chant in an ancient language as my grandmother continued. "A war is coming. You must defeat the army of men and the goblins which now ride alongside your brother. Destroy him and save Elmore!" The chanting became unbelievably loud. Suddenly the great power washed over me and the gift of memory returned.
