The next day Legolas decided instead of fighting he would teach me elvish. "I'm sure you will pick it up very quickly, if humans can speak it. I'm sure you can." He flash a smile towards me. "Alright I'll try." We walked to the running river and found a place to sit. It was a beautiful day even for winter. "Ok if you don't pick it up within three hours I will cut my hair."
"Wait no! No way! I may not know elvish but I do know how dishonourable it is to have your hair cut." I crossed my arms. "Well then. Guess you have to pick it up before three hours." He smiled and I stared him down. But sure enough I picked it up within an hour. "Told you! I knew you could do it!" I was shocked! "But how did you know?" He stopped smiling and looked into the distance. "Kili learnt it within 5 hours." I didn't know who that was but it looked like it hurt him a bit to talk about it so I let it go.
Just then we heard the horns of Dale being blown and saw smoke. We raced back to camp and saw that we under attack! It was men! But not the ones in these parts like the man I.... "Hurry we must go help!" Legolas yelled. We ran through the forest and came into the entrance when we were stopped by The king Thranduil. "GO! Go now! They are here for you Atarah!" He handed me the map and us packs of food and arrows. "Go with her Legolas, slip away now before they catch you!" I hugged Thranduil and thanked him for his kindness and Then we ran. We ran as hard as we have ever before. Once we ran past the ruins of Laketown we stopped to see the camp. It was captured by the men.
