Jesus died on the cross for us. He put all our sins on His shoulders. He paid the living sacrifice that needed to be paid, He shed the blood that needed to shed. Jesus could have called upon His angels that the Lord prepared for Him.... But the biggest fact is is that He didn't call. He didn't call upon His Fathers angels. Because He knew He had pay the price, even though He Himself didn't do anything. It was our fault that put Him on that cross.
But we must not be shamed and discouraged, for God forgives our sins and loves us all with all His heart. And that is why He died on the cross. Because He loves us and wants us to love Him back and spread that amazing love to everyone around us, and around the world.
