In the Year of Corona

Flashes of photographs in my memoir
A flashback of our youth nostalgia
Throwback of our love and tale of the old days
In my heart serves as a reservoir

Where are you now, my beau?
See you banging in rocks of 1970
When we jumped up high on the cloud nine
Listening now the radio's on playing

Could you still remember?
That day you caress my lips
In front of the crowd
Kaleidoscope feels

Destiny defines thy dearest one
Connected by strings whose heart will find
Indeed love is to be in love
It teaches us to be kind

Still, the leaf of thee has fallen
Early gone, be done
Pages of our stories undone
Let bygones be bygones

But there was a man who saves me
Bold and full of bravery
He fades away the blue and gives me hue
He was our son who protects me

And now my end is near
A virus is killing me
As the radio stops becomes static
I took my last deep breathe so happy

In my heart serves as a reservoir
Throwback of our love and tale of the old days
A flashback of our youth nostalgia
Flashes of photographs in my memoir
