They had one more meeting to crash, they entered the meeting room, all the members should up seeing Shivay

Everyone took their seat upon seeing Shivay sit on his chair

Anika sat beside Shivay and took her Mac book to take down the points

In the middle of a meeting, Anika sensed the points explained by team members is impractical, she frowned and looked at Shivay who had a neutral expression if she had not known him better she would have categorized him into a gull but she knows him better she could sense danger behind that neutral mask, she just prayed to save team members from his wrath

Meeting ended everyone anticipated his reaction

"Do you all agree with him, is it worth the risk?" asked Shivay

Everyone nodded their heads and was beaming with the idea

Anika face palmed seeing a bunch of gulls

Shivay stood up and threw the file in front of them making them shiver

Anika wasn't aghast with his behavior she anticipated the Beast Singh Oberoi

"You fucking nitwits you all want me to be a laughingstock, this you call it worth my risk"

"S...ir" shuttered one of the team members

"Fired" Shivay's voice boomed in the room

"Get out before I throw you all" everyone left from there rather say ran out saving their life

Anika stood up and took him in a bear hug, just like ice melt he melted down in her arms

She kissed his chest and her other hand caressed his cheek

He kissed her forehead

"Shiv, don't fire them just give them one chance"

"Kitten" he sighed

"Shiv, listen to me, their idea isn't bad but it needs correction given a chance I believe they would rectify and come up with better, just give them one last chance"

Kissing her head he nodded his head, he wouldn't upset her he knew if she believed she would take the matter into her hands

He ordered Khanna not to process further and tell them that he had given them one last chance to come up with their best or else ready to pack their things

Team members let out a sigh and wondered what made the beast change his decision they all thought it's their last day here it's not always the beast give them a second chance

Here in the meeting room, Shivika stayed in each other arms

But their moment got disturbed when his phone rang

His face turned unreadable, Anika wondered who was at the other end

Shivay's eyes landed on his kitten who was trying to read his expression

He disconnected the call saying he would be there soonest

She looked at him and sensed his uneasiness

"Shiv is something wrong"

He sighed and hugged her, how would he tell her he need to go and look at his other business she still has no clue about his other identity

"Kitten I need to go"

"Go where Shiv"

"It's something which I'm still not ready to tell you but trust me when the time comes I would tell you everything"

She looked at his eyes and found sincerity

She kissed his cheeks and promised him she would wait till he opens up with her

He was glad to hear those words from her, he would be doomed if she left him after knowing his reality, he needed to be sure she wouldn't leave him after his reality too for that he needs her to trust him beyond anything

He smiled and looked at her with all love, she placed her lips on his surprising him, he let her lead it her ways and then took in charge when he realized he wouldn't be able to see her for a week

Breaking the kiss both joined their heads

She wasn't ready to let him go but she couldn't hold him back too she knew he had stuff that needed his presence, but her heart sank when she heard him say

•Kitten I wouldn't be able to contact you for week•
