I was the bigger fool

I loved you more than anything

I Cherished every moment we spent together

And like a fool I feel in love

I gave you the one thing I should have protected the most

And that was my fragile heart.

But as time went by

And the seasons changed so did the image I had of you

I cried myself to sleep in hopes of washing away the pain

As I watched you from afar

And as we drew away I had never felt so much relief in my life

I loved you

I held you

With deepest regards

And yet like a fool I feel in love

In love with someone who would never feel the same way.

I was the bigger fool, the fool who fell in love.
