~Lance~
She sat me down in a chair.
She sat across from me and scanned my face for a moment.
"What is that?!" I asked, pointing at the necklace around her neck. The star symbol was on its silver chain.
"You know last night. Well..." she took a deep breath. "...I was knocked out cold and before I knew it I woke up in the strangest place and... well, I'm not allowed to tell you.".
"This is me you're talking about I can keep secrets." I said a little hurt.
"I'm a witch." She said clearly ashamed.
"Wait what?! But witches don't exist." I exclaimed, confused.
"Come I can't do it here." She grabbed my hand and pulled me into an empty room.
She shut the door and from the sound of her footsteps she had walked over to me. The room was pitch black except for a small beam of light coming from the bottom of the door.
"I'm a witch. They're training me. Every night they will come and get me. Where Witches but we can be good and evil. But I'm on neutral ground now since they are training me." She whispered in my ear.
"I like being a witch." She said behind me now, her breath on my bare neck.
"You'll still be able to come with us and figure out who the murderer is?" I asked her, not knowing where in the room she was.
"I don't know...I'll ask tonight, I promise." She said, now in front of me.
She started walking to the door. "Oh and Lance," She said quietly, turning back to me in the dim light. "The others can't know.". I nodded.
She left the room.

It was five PM so I had to get ready.
I put on a tuxedo with an undone bow tie around my neck. I wasn't bothered. It was too hard for me to tie it up. I put on shiny shoes and left my hair alone.
It gives me personality.
I walked to the huge ballroom by the foyer.
It was full of people.
I blended in with the well dressed noble men and fluffed up ladies. Young and old.
Collin found me in the crowd.
"It's good Clara killed that assassin." He said.
So that was her story.
I nodded.
He handed me a glass of liquor.
Suddenly, everyone was shushing each other and gaping up the stairs.
I looked up and my heart pounded in my ears.
There, a gorgeous Clara and Milly were walking down the stairs gracefully. Clara wore an emerald green sleeveless dress with a heart neckline. She wore her necklace and emerald green gloves that went to her elbows. Milly wore a petal pink dress and gloves that looked like Clara's but pink. They both had left their hair down and it fell in thick waves down their shoulders.
They were matching.
Clara was casually saying something to Milly. Milly said something to her and nodded her head to me. Clara's green eyes searched the crowd where Milly had nodded to. Her eyes locked on mine and she didn't even bother about everyone else gaping at her.
