"what the fuckity fuck do you mean he likes you?" cho asked on the group facetime call

right after her brain put 2 and 2 together she started a group facetime call with her friends, aka cho, timothée and nicolette.

"yeah, are you sure it's not just your ego soaring?" nicolette asked, onto which timothée added

"i meam she is a fire sign.."

"why else would he feel jealous!?" katrina asked shoveling another spoon of ben & jerrys icecream into her mouth

"okay.. lets say he does, what are you gonna do?" timothée asked, continuing to paint their nails neon pink

"nothing because i agreed with my mums that i would do nothing until i get their approval on him" she lightly hit her head against her vanity desk

suddenly, xienna and joanna entered kates room "hey bug!"

joannas hair was the fiest think that caught kates eye.

when the fuck did she manage to do that without kate reali- nevermind.

"hi mrs. reid and mrs. reid!" her friends said at the same time creating a cacophony

xienna and joanna looked at each other for a few seconds

"end the call gimme your phone for a second, you can call em back later"

"okay... ill be back in a moment" kate did just that

"whats his contact name?" xienna asked

joanna grabbed the phone and sent him a text which read "its urgent!!" and then started a facetime call after they saw he read it

clay answered in seconds, panic clear on his tired features "what's wr... uh.. hello?" he asked the two women who had stern looks on their faces

"clay. cats or dogs?"

"cats..?"

"spring or fall?"

"fall..."

"summer or winter?"

"summer?"

"great! thats all, thank you for your participation!" and they ended the call right as he was about to say something

kate was a bit shocked that the interrogation was so short, but she knew better than to question her mums.

"and..?"

"its a pass." joanna and xienna said at the same time and handed kate the phone back.

they both pat her head and leave the room walking synchronized.

"how do they always manage to do that.." katrina whispered to herself

she just sat there for a few moments, stunned, before calling back her friends

"and?! howd it go!?" everyone was on the edge of their seats to know what her mums said because kates face revealed nothing.

"they said yes..?"

"WOOO!!"

now, the call went on for about an hour longer and the group made a plan.

firstly, she wouldn't text him in a few days, especially not first.

she aint no pussy.

secondly shed hint the idea of one of them visiting the other. if he doesnt offer her to go to his place, she'll over for him to visit her.

there, kate just has ti be flirty and make him as flustered as possible.

wait why?

cuz its fun seeing a huge guy crumble from a wink.

and lastly, a kiss. unexpected but not untimed. just enough for him to know its coming in the back of his head but also catch him off guard.

no official titles yet because as kate said "those scare me. broken heart emoji"

now we have a plan on how to execute this whole thing.
