Seven Golden Pieces of Advice the Prophet SAW gave to Abu Dharr RA. 🍁
Abu Dharr, May Allah be pleased with him, said:
My beloved friend (the Messenger), praise and peace be upon him, advised me with seven matters:
1. He advised me to love the poor, and to be close to them. 2. He advised me to look at those who are below me (financially) and not to look at those above me. 3. He advised me to be good to my relatives, even if they turn away. 4. He advised me not to ask anyone anything (i.e. to be self sufficient). 5. He advised me to say the truth, even if it is bitter. 6. He advised me not to fear the blame of anyone when doing something for Allah. 7. He advised me to say ‘la hawla wa la quwata illa billah (there is no change or power except by Allah),’ for it is a treasure from under the Throne (of Allah).
