Chapter 17

Natalia's POV:

*October*

"Natalia?" Ross asks.

"Yeah Ross." I say looking up from my book.

"For our next concert, we're staying in California. Do you want to meet up with anybody." Ross asks.

"I want to see Ally." I say.

He smile and asks, "Is that the one that calls you Talia on Instagram."

I laugh and say, "Yep."

"Haha ok." He says putting his arm around me again.

I put my head on his shoulders and take out my phone.

Me: HEY! I GET TO COME VISIT YOU!!! Where do you live again?

Ally: Yay!!! Text me when when your in the area. I'll meet you at the park right across from your house.

Me: Ok!!!

I put my phone away again and say, "I know where she lives now."

"You didn't already know?" Ross asks smiling.

"No... I always met her at the park across from her house." I say

"Oh." He says kissing my forehead.

I smile and say, "She kinda has a thing for Rocky."

"Oh really?" Ross says smirking.

I nod and cuddle into him closer.

"Are you cold?" He asks.

I nod and say, "I'm used to the warmth in California now."

"I'll be your blanket." He says hugging me.

I can't help but smile. He's so protective of me. We're on the tour bus and it's freezing and I have goose bumps all over my body.

As we are getting closer I smile and I think of the times that my family and I would travel like this; going on vacation.

"Hey guys." Rocky says sitting in a chair across from us.

"Hey Rock." Ross says and I wave.

"Oh, aren't we full of words today?" He says to me.

I smile and say, "Haha yeah. You get to meet a good friend of mine! She kinda has a thing for you."

His eyes wide and he says, "Seriously?"

"Yeah. Last time I talked to her, she said that she had a crush on you." I say.

His eyebrows do a dance. Ross and I look at each other and laugh.

*A few hours later*

"Okay, we're here guys!" Riker says excitedly.

We climb off the bus and Ross takes my hand. We walk over to Stormie and Mark getting out of the van and asks, "Mom, dad. Can I take the van to take Natalia to one of her friends house to visit?"

"Sure, but be back at the hotel by supper." Stormie says tossing him the keys.

I jump in the passenger seat. I have to direct him to what street to go on. I text Ally saying that, "We're heading over now. Go to the park!"

Ross laughs at the stories I'm telling him about certain places around town. We drive house my old house and I see that new people have moved in.

I get a wave of sadness from seeing this. We keep driving until we finally get to the park.

"Come on! I yell as I jump out of the van and I take off running.

"I'm coming!" He says running after me.

I turn into the park and I look around. It's exactly how it looked the last time I was here.

I smile when I see someone sitting on the picnic table.

"Ally!!!" I yell running over towards her.

"Talia!!!" She says attacking me with a hug.

"It's been so long. I've missed seeing you." I say trustfully. She was like a sister to me in Kindergarten. I haven't seen her since.

"Me too! I've been keeping tab on you from Instagram." She says wiggling her eyebrow.

"Wait..." I say. "Remember, retarded dinosaur!!!"

We look at each other and start flapping our hands in front of us and we laugh.

"Natalia," Ross says finally catching up. "How do you run that fast?"

I smile and say, "I was just a little bit overly excited to see my friend because I haven't seen her since kindergarten."

I get off the bench and hug Ross.

I turn to Ally and say, "Ally meet Ross; Ross meet Ally."

Ross hold out his hand and Ally shakes it.

"Nice to meet you." Ross says.

"Same to you." Ally says.

We talk for a while to catch up before she has to go.

"Hey Ally, I am going to take a picture and show it to Rocky. Ok?" Ross says copying the way Ally talks.

"Sure." She says posing for the picture.

Ross takes the picture and says, "Ok, Thx. hope to see you again!!!"

"You too." She says walking away.

Ross and I climb back into the van.

"Well she was... ummm interesting." Ross says laughing.

I laugh and say, "Yep."

"She reminds me of Rocky." Ross says turning a corner.

I laugh and say, "Now you see why I think her and Rocky would be perfect for each other."

Still laughing, Ross says, "I wish I could argue but I can't even."

He pulls into the hotel parking lot and we get out. Ross grabs my hand and leads me to the restaurant inside. The family and Ratliff were sitting there waiting for us.

"Hey guys!" Ross says pulling my chair out for me.

I sit down in between Ross and Rocky.

"How was your friend?" Rocky asks.

I smile and say, "She wanted me to give you her phone number."

I hand him a piece of paper with Ally's number on it.

He smiles and says, "How old is she?"

I think and say, "Umm. I think she's fifteen like me."

He smirks and says, "Thanks Natalia."

Ross holds his phone up in front of Rocky's face and says, "This is her."

His eyes almost pop out of his head and says, "Man!!! She's pretty!"

He looks down at his phone and puts in Ally's number into his phone.

He sends a text to her and they start texting.

"We make pretty good cupids." I say.

He kisses my head and says, "I think we do too."

We all eat and we walk to our rooms. Rocky, Ross, and I shared a room.

Rocky got the one bed all to himself because Ross and I want to share one.

"Okay, you too, don't be loud over there. I want to sleep." Rocky says laying down.

Ross and I fall asleep fast. We lay there silently in each other's arms as we sleep.
