Chapter 16

Natalia POV:

I wake up a few hours later, right next to Ross still. He still asleep too. I smile and shake him to wake up.

"Ross, we should go downstairs." I say.

Ross looks at me and says, "Okay, fine."

He helped me up and I said, "Can I have a piggy back?"

"Sure babe. Hop on!" He says.

I stand up on his bed and jump onto his back.

"Ready?" He asks.

"I was born ready!" I say with excitement.

He walks out of the room and runs down the hallway.

We start laughing as he walks down the stairs. When he get downstairs, he runs into the kitchen.

"Hey mom." He says walking over to her.

She looks at us and says, "Good morning, Rosslia."

"Rosslia?" I say looking down at Ross.

"Rosslia... I like it! That's our shipping name." Ross says looking back at me.

"Awesome." I say smiling.

The fans have been wanting the shipping name for a while now and this just fits it perfectly.

"GO OUTSIDE MY TRUSTY STEED!" I say.

Ross laughs and runs outside.

Rocky, Ratliff, and Ryland are playing basketball. Ross runs through the middle and I grab the ball.

"HEY!" They all whine.

Ross and I laugh and I dunk the ball in the basket.

They're on my team!" Ryland says. "So I get the point."

They argue for a while but then decide that it counted for Ryland.

I get off at Ross's back and go over to Rydell and Riker sitting on the bench.

"Hey guys." I say walking over to them.

"Hi." They both say sounding down.

"What's up?" I ask sitting down.

Riker run his fingers through his hair and takes a deep breath.

Riddell is rubbing his back and says, "Tell her."

"Tell me what?" I say worried. "Wait, is this about Alexis?"

Riker nods. "Okay, remember how Alexis was at the hospital?"

"Yes." I nod and say.

"Well, her dad was shot the day that you saw her. I'm worried about her!" Riker says letting a tear escape his eye.

"Riker," I say putting my arm around his shoulder. "I am too. I know Alexis, she needs someone. You should go to the hospital with her."

"You think so?" He asks.

"I know so." I say.

He stands up and says, "Thank you Natalia. I have to go to the hospital."

He takes off running and I high five Rydell.

"We did good!" Rydell says.

"Yeah, we did!" I say.

We walk over to the garage and she grabs our skateboards.

"Let's go to the park or something." Rydell says handing mine over to me.

My skateboard has light blue bottom with yellow graffiti letters on it.

I put it on the ground and start rolling away.

Rydell is close behind me. We go to the park in like 10 minutes.

We stop and sit on the bench.

"That was fun was so much fun!" She says laughing.

"Yeah, I was!" I say laughing.

"When you fell off the skateboard and just sat in the middle of the road." Rydell says.

"Yeah!!! And me waving at the car that went around me." I say.

We walk for a few more minutes until the guy comes over at us.

"Hey! Your name is Rydell right?" The guy asks.

"Yes." Rydell says twirling her hair.

I see that they want to be alone so I say, "See you at home, Delly."

"Okay, see you later Natalia." She says.

I put my skateboard on the ground and make my way home. I pull into the driveway and everyone was in the pool.

"Hey babe." Ross say.

"Hey Ross." I say laying on a deck chair.

"Where's Rydell?" Stormie asks.

"At the park with some guy she meet." I say.

"Oh Yay!!! My baby girl is finally going to get her first kiss." Stormie says.

We all laughed and I lay on the chair. That's what we did for the rest of the night.

At like ten o'clock, Ross got out of the pool and pulled a chair up against mine. He wrapped his towel around him and I. We laid there looking at the stars.

"Natalia, your the best thing that has ever happened to me." Ross says.

"Awe! Thanks Ross! Your the first one that ever cared about me, since my family died." I say.

"Don't worry Natalia. I'll never leave you alone in this world." He says kissing me.

"Promise?" I ask questioning him.

"Promise." He say.
