(Y/n) POV

I slowly opened my eyes because of the light that was shining in my face.
I rubbed my eyes and looked around.
My head was hurting and my eyes felt really puffy.
I was lying on the ground with senku next to me.
He looked really peaceful while he was sleeping.
I remembered what he said yesterday night and felt sad again.
I sat up and sighed trying to shake the feeling off.
I looked back at senku and gently rubbed his left cheek not wanting him to wake up.

"Good morning (Y/n)!!"

I turned and saw Gen walking towards me.
I held my finger to my mouth signing that he should be quiet.
He nodded and sat next to me.
We were both absorbing Senkus beauty when he slowly opened his eyes.
I panicked and stood up looking around me trying to find a place to hide
I ran and hid behind the tree where me and senku where sleeping.

"Gen? What are you doing here? And where is (Y/n)?"
Senku said.

'OML- HIS MORNING VOICE IS SO HHOOOTTT- LET ME BREATHEE- AAAAAAA'
I held my hands on my mouth trying to not let a voice out.

"Senku... Did you cry??"
Gen asked in a worried tone.

"How did you know-"

Gen sighed.

"Well you got puffy eyes, did something happen between you and (Y/n)?"

I felt a twist in my stomach.

"... No, don't worry, everything is okay between us, we just talked yesterday night, and we slept pretty late so maybe that's why"
Senku said sounding sad.

"Okay than... I'm gonna go now, let me know if you need something"
Gen said and walked away.

'I need to talk to him- and thank him for the jacket!'

I stood up and walked to him.

"Good morning senku!!"
I said sounding happy.

"Good morning dumbass"
He said in a teasing voice.

I came closer to him and sat next to him.

"Eh senku- did you actually mean what you said yesterday night?"

I didn't look at him because I didn't want him to see me sad.
It was quiet for a few seconds what felt like forever.

"Look (Y/n), I was serious about what I said, we defeated gorilla man and now he's working for us, what means that this'll be over soon..."
I heard him say.

I stayed quiet because I knew that I couldn't change anything.
He stood up and cleaned his throat.

"Let's not be sad and just enjoy the moment that we got!"
He said and stook out his hand for me.

I smiled a bit and grabbed his hand, he pulled me up and hugged me.

"(Y/n), there is something else I want to tell you"
He said with a soft voice.

I took a step back and smilled at him.

"I...never mind. I'll tell you when all this is over"
He said and his smile Dissapeared.

"Hey there love birds, yuzuriha is done with putting back all the pieces of the broken people, but the weird thing was that on my way here I saw a petrified cat"
Gen said.

"Rip that 😺 aye"
I said.

"Yeah no please"
Gen said giving me a 'you where a mistake' smile.

"Let's go to yuzuriha and see what she did, (Y/n) and Gen, could you two get some miracle water to de-petrify those people?"
Senku said.

We both nodded and we went our own way.

~big time skip ٩(ര̀ᴗര́)~

We we're almost finished with reviving everyone.
We had 100 more people to go.
It was night and everyone was sleeping but me.
I was thinking about what senku was trying to say months ago.

'I' what... what was he trying to say? 'I hate you?', 'I'm in love with your best friend?' Or 'I was joking about leaving you?''
I thought and a smile appeared on my face.

'I sure hope that it's the last one'
I slowly shook my head and closed my eyes trying to sleep.

"Good night my dear Senku"

~MORNINGG~

I opened my because it felt like someone was staring at me.
I look around but saw nobody.

'Must be some weird instincts'

I sat up and felt a little dizzy.

"Good morning sunshine"

I jumped when I hear someone whisper that in my ear.
I looked back and saw Senku with a big smile.

"Oh, good morning Senku!"
I said.

"Just Senku? Not 'my dear Senku?'"
He said sounding disappointed.

I gave him a confused look.

"Oh, so you don't remember? Well you see, last night you said 'good night my dear Senku' and than you slept"
He said with big eyes.

I thought for a few seconds when I finally realised.

"Oh dear lord, please bury me right here, right now"
I said looking like this.

Senku let out a chuckle and kissed me on my four head.

"I'm going to miss this side of you"

I felt a little upset when I heard him say that, but I shook off the feeling and looked at his peaceful face.
I bit my lip trying to sign him that I wanted a kiss, and I think he noticed.

"Oh right, remember when I told you I would give you a kiss when we helped Magma out? Well- let's do that!"
Senku said with smirk.

He put his hand on my cheek and slowly pulled me closer.
He grabbed my hand with his other hand and put that on his chest.
I didn't know how to react so I just closed my eyes.
I could feel his breath on my lips.
I slightly opened my eyes where I saw his lip not even being a inch from mine.
Our lips weren't touching though.
I let out a groan out of irritation.
He smirked and looked me deep in my eyes still being really close.

"You want it don't you?"
He said trying to tease me.

I released my hand from his chest and put both of my hands on his cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss.
His eyes widened up and I just smirked while kissing.
I released the kiss after a few seconds.
He just looked at me dumbfounded.
And I smiled.

"You see? It could've been that easy"
I stood up and walked out.
