Senku's POV

~after school~

"Seeenkuu!! Are you ready for science?"

I turned around and saw (Y/n) smiling.

"Sorry for breaking it to you, but we have detention, remember?"

I could see her expression go from a big smile to a sad person.

I patted her head and gave her a kind smile.

"Hey, don't worry about it! We have tomorrow, don't we?"

She nodded and gave me a sad but kind smile back.

"Should we go now?"

I asked her sounding kind.

'Poor girl, she never had someone to talk science with, but that's going to change because I'm here now!'

"Senku, do you know where to go?"

"Of course I know where to go!"

She smirked at me.

"So you've been in detention before?

She evilly smiled at me.

"No you idiot, I've been going to this school for years, of course I know where to go by now"

"Yeah sure, don't worry your secret will be safe with me"

She winked what made me blush a bit.
I turned around and started walking.

"Huh- wait Senku! Don't leave me behind! You have to safe me again if you do!!"

I just walked further to tease her.

"HEY SENKU!!"

I could hear her running to me.

"Ha- i like your cut g"

"Wha-"

She slapped the back of my head what made me bend a bit.

"Eh, ouch"

'Did she just hit me? But why?'

"What was that for?!"

She was on the ground laughing.

"I-it *wheeze* this is a trend on tiktok"

"It's a trend to hit people?"

I looked at her with a confused face.

"I'm sorry I won't do it again"

She was still laughing a little.

We walked to the detention class room.

We looked around to see if anyone was there but we didn't found anyone.

"We should just take a seat and wait until a teacher comes"

I nodded and walked to a seat.
(Y/n) also took a seat in front of me.

'I never came into detention, but I would do it for her'

We just looked at each other without saying anything.

'We're so quiet! I'm gonna say something... but what?'

After a few minutes (Y/n) started talking.

"Hey Senku?"

I looked at her and saw that she had a worried expression.

'Did something happen to her?'

"Yes (Y/n)?"

She waited a little.

"I have the feeling that something bad is going to happen, but i can't figure what that is"

She looked really stressed.

'What should I say? I can't say no because it's her feeling'

"C-can we please go to the science room to see if everything is alright?"

"But we can't! We're in detention!"

'To be honest, I wanted to go too, but we have to stay here'

She looked at me with her puppy dog eyes.

I turned a little red.

"O-okay than, but you have to come back before the teacher comes"

"Y-you're not coming with me?"

She gave me a sad puppy dog face.

"But I have to stay here before the teacher com-"

"PLEASSEE SENKUU!!!"

"Huh- *sigh* fine"

"YAY!! thank you Senku!"

She ran up to me and gave me a big tight hug.

I got really red.

'W-what is she doing?! I don't want her to let me go, but if she doesn't than we could be late to go check the room!'

"E-eh, (Y/n)?"

She looked up at me, and suddenly let go.

"I-I-I'm so s-sorry!! These things are normal in my country!"

She bowed a lot of times.

"H-Hey it's alright!! Don't worry about it, we should just go to the science room before a teacher comes"

Her expression changed to a excited person.

'I hope that nothing bad is going to happen, and if it does, than I'm going to protect (Y/n), even if it costs my life!'
