Adrien

"Well I'm a bad writer, that's for sure." Adrien said as he chuckled. He closed the journal and placed it in a secret drawer that required a passcode. That's also where he kept the miracle box. When he unlocked it, all the kwami's flew out and hugged him. It cheered him up a little but he was still feeling down.

"I'm so sorry Adrien," Trixx said, hugging Adrien's finger.

"Thank you guys." Adrien sighed. He then remembered what Marinette said to him earlier when he had picked up the- when he visited her.

"I'll be back, Marinette. Don't worry!" To which she replied, "You better be!"

"Marinette." Adrien thought. He didn't think anything or anyone else could cheer him up as much as she could so he transformed and swung out of his window, headed in the direction of the bakery. Marinette was where Chat knew she would be.

"Hey Mari." Chat tiredly said.

"Oh hey Chat!" Marinette exclaimed. Chat knew it was good that she was in a good mood but she couldn't help but notice that Chat wasn't doing great. Even though she had just met him a few days ago after he saved her, she still felt super safe with him and she wasn't sure why.

"What's wrong kitty?" She asked, worriedly. Kitty. That reminded him so much of "Chaton," which he also missed.

"Its- it's nothing. Don't worry about it Marinette. So how was your day?" Chat asked Marinette.

"Well pretty good. I was late to school again today and, well I don't know if I should tell you, but I have a crush on this guy and he was looking at me the whole period! He doesn't really talk to me though. What do you think? Should I make a move? I want to but I don't know how to act around him. Whenever I talk to him, my legs feel like jello. I'm actually quite confident but he just takes it away from me. You probably don't know that feeling. I mean, from what I've seen, you seem super confident and silly. Do you have someone that you feel like around? Marinette smiled while she turned her head to look at Chat Noir sitting on the railing.

Marinette liked him- liked Adrien? How was he always so clueless? Unless there was another person that was staring straight at Marinette at school then it must've been him.

"Yes, you." Was what he was going to say but that would just be awkward. She didn't really know him and it felt like he didn't know her anymore either. All the memories they made were now forgotten by her and it just wouldn't be the same to say that.

"Yeah, I did. I am pretty confident but she made me feel like that too. I mean she was perfect. I couldn't help it. Just thinking about her makes me smile. I get what you are feeling." Chat Noir replied. Marinette couldn't help but notice he was only using past tense words to describe his lover. She didn't want to ask what happened to her but she sure was curious.

"Oh well wherever she is I'm sure she loves you back." Marinette said and chuckled. Chat smiled at this. Hearing Marinette inner Ladybug come out was comforting. He knew he would be right. Marinette did make him feel better.

"Hey Marinette?" Chat mumbled.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks." Marinette had no idea what he was thanking her for but she took it and just nodded. And then they just talked. They talked about their goals, their plans, their dream vacations, and more things then could keep track of. Marinette was comfortable when she was sitting on the seat placed on the roof while Chat stood on the balcony. The view of the Eiffel Tower was extravagant from here. They were both dreading the sun coming up, never wanting this night to end. Somehow they never ran out of things to talk about.

Marinette told Chat she always wanted to be a princess. It was her dream ever since she was a child and "I guess it never went away." Chat Noir laughed at that and established a new nickname for her; Princess.

"You're going to start calling me that now, aren't you?" Marinette groaned in annoyance.

"No of course not, Princess." He teased. Marinette didn't want to admit it but she loved the name. It was one of their inside "jokes" that only the two of them would know which made her feel special. She called him kitty which he didn't seem too bothered by.

The minutes slowly went by as they talked and Marinette's tiredness got the best of her. When Chat was telling her about one of his birthday parties, she fell asleep on the chair. He smiled and carried her to the bed.

"Goodnight princess." Chat whispered and proceeded to kiss her on the forehead. He quietly got out of her room, closed the trap door, and swung back to his mansion. At that point he had lost track of time and it was already 4:55! "Great.." He thought. He immediately fell asleep when his face hit the pillow and the two were sound asleep, unaware that they were slowing, but surely, falling for each other.
