THAT ILLUSION || Chasing the call of the chasm.
Earth is haunted, and they have come to save the earthlings before it's too late.
The Narngon school of magic is the only source of remedy for this silently perishing world. The trio of infamous queens...
Shit! It escaped, Mordana frowned at her untimely move. 'Better that it's away, focus on Arva now,' Galene oriented her.
When the formless, envious spectre skedaddled, everyone witnessed Arva's frozen skin, reclaim its warmth and vitality. Her breaths turned rhythmic and her strained eyes closed to rest. Her hairs and nails that were weak and obsidian, glinted a mortal shine. Past the sweats and fears, an ebullient smile crept over every lip.
"Oh thee mother of wellness and virtue, bless this girl with the will to combat life," Serephina recited while outlining a pentagram over Arva's heart. Then she looked at Galene for her next move.
"Serephina, move her heart to left and let the vigour hold her steady till I complete," Galene instructed as she gloved her hands and got ready for the procedures.
Assuring her affirmation to Arva, Serephina enunciated,
'Shifzittouleft.' (Shift to the left.)
She could see streaks of amber invading Arva's young ribs and could feel her recovering heart being moved to the left.
Galene signalled Eir to pull out the wood. With every strength that was left in her, she pulled it out in a moment without changing the angle.
Galene gave a thumbs up. Aaron lent her the scalpel, tissues and cotton pad to arrest the bleeding and to remove the injured tissue. She then took some of the heated potion in a swab and painted it on her traumatised tissue and then sutured it. She placed Arva on the mattress and gave her some intravenous fluids and when she was sure that Arva was safe she gulped down whatever she held back in her gut.
"Thanks, Serephina. You did keep her steady. Mordana, can you recite the spell of protection and healing for this little Arva?" Galene asked to which she responded with a positive smile. Slowly the invoked vigors dissipated into the little girl and mixed with her blood and that relaxed her tensed nerves.
Leaving Mordana inside, the others went out and reported the girl's survival to Kayte and she squeezed Galene and thanked her between her wails.
"I have no clue how would I pay you back for this help. You have saved our little girl. Her father would be very happy to know that she is safe and good." Kayte conversed her conciliatory mind.
"No, it's not just me who made this possible. These kids did support me and did an incredible job. Keep her safe and make sure she takes the pills and syrup properly. It's the best you can do." Galene replied while lending her the medications.
Mordana silently joined them after completing her prayers. Noticing her arrival, Galene prepared everyone for the return.
When they were turning back, Eir looked at the one night to be a full moon. Before realising what she was doing her lashes latched her irises. Within her eyes, she could see numerous black whisks colliding the moon and getting into the Earth and bouncing back again. The cycle kept repeating and numerous ogres, like the one she saw moments ago, kept emerging out of nowhere and her frenzy state pushed her to open her eyes that were closed without her will.
She held her Sermons eye, which charred her palms, indicating the emission of silvery black fumes from it. Her spine shuddered that made her body shake realising the havoc that was in front of them. When her thoughts tossed her to the sky and land of eternal silence, a tangible qualm drew her attention. I'm not a proficient bearer but how could I see a Sermon intuition? Is this true or a mere illusion?
The plaguing queries clouded within that drained her of all the remaining strength. She once again looked at the moon with her keen eyes, only to realise the freed fiend watch her in disguise.

Hope this update is better! Let me know your thoughts and guesses in the comments.
.Ø. How would Eir be able to interpret her vision? She keeps it as a secret till now and never uses it often. So what would happen when people know about her vision?
.Ø. If you were with them how would you handle the ogre?
.Ø. Finally how is the write up? This is my first paranormal scene out of my mind. Hope it's better.
