"Yashiro-san, you'll be fine. Just remember my advice." Nene sighed.

"Alright."

"Good luck," Tsuchigomori said before hanging up.

When Tsuchigomori had given her his phone number, he had also given her instructions: Even if he's alive, Hanako is still Hanako. If he does something he shouldn't, let him do it once, then stop him after that.

She walked back to Amane. "Alright, come on." Nene gestured towards her room. Amane raised an eyebrow.

"Are you serious?" he asked, smiling. Nene blushed and nodded. Amane stood. "Alright, then."

"J-just this o-once!" Nene squeaked, pushing open the door. Amane walked in and inspected her room.

"Hmm, not bad," Amane said. "Who's this?" He knelt on the blue carpet and faced the tiny silver cage.

"Black Canyon." Nene knelt next to him. "He's my hamster." She stuck a finger through the bars of the cage.

"You hate this, don't you?" The question surprised Nene.

"W-what do you mean?" She asked. Amane sighed.

"This." He gestured to himself. "Me being alive. Staying with you. You hate it."

"Amane . . ." Nene sighed. "I don't hate this. I-in fact, I—" Nene blushed. "I like it. I'm getting to see these . . . sides of you that I did before."

Amane looked at the platinum-haired girl next to him. Nene laid her head on his shoulder.

"I really like it."

(Amane/Hanako's POV)

How did this happen?

This is a mess.

How did it become such a problem?

I just wanted to protect Yashiro. She was screaming . . . crying out for help . . . but then she wasn't there.

I remembered following her voice to the Broadcasting Room.

How did that become this?

Yashiro had needed help. But when I finally got there . . . she was missing.

Something hit me. Then I blacked out.

When I awoke, I was . . . alive.

Tsukasa. It had to be Tsukasa.

But why is he working with Kako? What could Tsukasa possibly give . . .

Oh.

Kako's wanted power for a long time, and he used Tsukasa to get it. I can practically see them plotting.

Get rid of the leader and you'll become in charge.

That was always my brother's way of thinking. I don't know what his plan is, but imagine it has something to do with Yashiro.

Yashiro . . .

She's been leaning on me for the past 10 minutes.

I think she's asleep.

I can't help but smirk. Just imagine all the fun things I could do!

But . . . maybe not today. Today's been a mess.

No . . . I've been a mess.

"I'm sorry, Yashiro," I whispered aloud, picking her up. She's oddly light for a daikon. I place her on her bed.

"Goodnight."

A/N:

A few things:

1: I'm sorry if the characters aren't acting like themselves. I wanted to show how crazy this was for them, so I tried to get everyone to act a little odd. If it came out too weird, sorry.

2: When I was writing Amane's lines, it felt so weird! In my head, Amane and Hanako are two different people (don't worry, I know they aren't). It was odd to be writing 'Amane' but trying to make him seem like Hanako. (This was kind of a rant-- sorry)

3: Does anyone else feel like Hanako is just a darker (and slightly perverted) Keefe Sencen? (Omg KOTLC reference!) He just reminds me of Keefe. And Kou is like Dex! Wait, if Nene's Sophie, who's Fitz? (Everyone who hasn't read Keeper:  . . . wait what XD)

I'm sorry, I'm ranting. This chapter/part just has a lot.

Okay, stay safe, healthy, and wear a mask!
