The next day, the herd was still on their way to home as they waited for land to appear, while Granny kept calling her pet, Precious
"Here, girl! Here, Precious!" Granny called as she threw fruit into the ocean
"She thinks she finally found her pet" Sid chuckled as Diego and Noa chuckled as well while Manny walked up to Granny and shoved the basket with fruit away
"Look, Granny, can't you throw imaginary food to your imaginary pet?" Manny asked irritated as Granny threw the mango in the ocean anyway as the mammoth rolled his eyes and sighed
"Enough already! We need to keep a lookout for home" Manny groaned as he walked off to the group
"Eh, you can't take your eyes off her for one minute" Manny said
"Nope, it's like having a child" Diego replied as they saw Granny who threw the basket with fruit overboard
"Only without any of the joy" Diego sighed as he rolled his eyes
"Hey, brain trust, brace for impact!" Granny exclaimed as she pointed to the distance with her cane as the others looked back and saw that the ship was drifting towards a cliff
Manny rushed to the steering stick and quickly corrected their direction as they all looked up and saw that the continent was just ahead of them in the distance
"We made it... we made it!" Noa cheered happily
"Buddy, I never doubted you" Diego spoke up as he looked at Manny
"Me, either" Sid agreed as he added
"Well, except for the six or seven times I thought we were gonna die"
Back at the mainland, the herd and the pack almost reached the land bridge
Ellie, Peaches and the pack walked behind the herd as Peaches sighed
"What's wrong, sweetheart?" Ellie asked
"You ever say something you knew you couldn't take back?" Peaches asked
"Is this about Louis?" Ellie asked
"I messed up so bad, Mom" Peaches sighed sadly
"It's okay. It happens. Cute boys can whiplash your brain. No doubt about that" Ellie chuckled
"But Ethan was the wrong guy" Peaches replied
"And you figured it out. You'll know what to say to Louis" Ellie assured her daughter when they heard everyone in front of them gasp and some of them were screaming
"What's going on?" Peaches asked as she and Ellie walked to the front of the herd
They gasped when saw that the land bridge was gone and it only left giant chunks of broken land
"The land bridge. It's gone" Ellie gasped as the wall moved closer to the herd and pack and it got them trapped
"Oh no" Victor gasped silently
"We're trapped!" One of the herd members exclaimed
"But we were supposed to meet Dad and Noa here! What are we gonna do?" Peaches asked Ellie desperately
Meanwhile, the others floated through the fog and became hard for them to see anything through it as the ship kept bumping into things
Diego walked to the edge and looked down to see chunks of land and trees in the water
"Ellie! Peaches!" Manny yelled followed by Noa
"Mom! Dad!"
As they all looked for their families as a thunderous crack echoed around them, when they saw the last piece of the land bridge fell into the ocean
