Chapter 4 ( Comfortable? )

"Really? Drinking? I don't even do those stuff! "
I looked at dianne with a frown .
She hipped bumped me and laughed
"Oh shusshhh , be glad I didn't tell her you have massive crush on her"
She giggled.
"Right i would have drop you so fast"
I sarcastically said.

We arrived at the nurse office . And the nurse gave me some vitamins she told me
i could stay and lay down for a while .
If i feel any better i can return to class.

We stayed there for a good 30 mins or so.

"You seriously need to learn how to talk in situations like that"
Dianne laughed as she sat beside me and handed me a bottle of water.
"I'm sorry what?"
I scratched my head and looked at dianne confusingly.
"Me and the others can tell you were flustered trying to reply Miss Zoe's simple question."
Dianne said . She placed her hand on my shoulder .
"She noticed your hoodie tho"
A strike of happiness went to my heart as i tried not to blush .
This is unreal.
I thought i was only one that noticed.

I Covered my face trying not to show dianne my blushed red face.
"Thats enough , your gonna give yourself a minor heart attack"
She got up and gave herself a stretch before pulling me out of bed .
"Come on , i only did this so you can have air to breath in. Your basically fine."
Dianne smirked.
And i stood there looking at her with a warm smile.

We made our way back to class and i stood outside the clasroom in the hallway for a moment .
Gaining back my 2% confidence before entering the class and admiring Miss Zoe Presence.

I peeked through the door only to find Miss Zoe not around.
I got kinda relieved but at the same time sad?
Like why am i getting these mixed emotions?
Ohh whatever ...

as i was about to enter class.

"Your back already? , thank goodness. I was about to visit you in the nurse office instead."
Miss zoe appeared behind me .
"Oh shoot, yeah sorry about earlier , it was kinda rude of me"
I apologized to her , while trying to avoid long eye contact.
"Don't need to apologize. I know it's hard to deal when you have to many to drink"
She giggled.

Me and dianne is gonna have a talk about her telling Miss Zoe i drank') I can't even finish 2 cans.

"Uhh yeaaa.. i had alot of drinks kinda.... My bad"
Okay Dianne is right, i need to work on my social skills.

I took a glimpse of her , Shes very tall.

Good gracious-
I covered my mouth while looking away from her.
Gosh shes gonna think I'm crazy.
"You do blush alot don't you?"
Miss Zoe said out of curiosity.
"I- well not really but i.."
She took a few small steps towards me.
And placed the strain of hair behind my ear.
She smiled.
"You have beautiful eyes"
I stood there shooked.
She keeps complimenting me back and forth.
I didn't even think she ever compliments people
OR EVEN TALK TO STUDENT COMFORTABLY.

*Ring!!!*
The school bell rang.
Miss zoe adjusted her posture and smiled at me .
She placed her hand on my shoulder and walked away.

I- what just happened?

Students started coming out the classroom and cluttering around the hallway .

"hey where were you , you got us pretty worried"
Nessa and the others came out from class .
Dianne wrapped her hands over my shoulders
"Sorry, me and miss zoe kinda got into a conversation..."
My friends stood there shocked yet so silent.
"Im sorry WHAT!?"

Annabelle came budging in . Standing before me with her hands crossed and her lap dogs tagging along with her.
The whole crowd started looking at us.
"THERES NOOoooo way Miss Zoe talked to you , you're lying . She doesn't even talk to me , what makes you think she will talk to you?!".

Okay that hurted my feelings a bit but i kept a straight face.
"Well we did but-"
She cut me off and began ranting about how i look and how miss zoe will be embarass to talk to a orphan like me.

"HEY ! Back off brat. If your going to bring Leah down you better get through us first"
Levi and the others stand infront me , Dianne held my hand squeezing it.

As a stare down occurred
Finally someone showed up

"Enough."
A familiar yet stern voice appeared again.
It was Miss Zoe.
She stood there with her arms crossed .
All the boys and girls drool with admiration and flirtation.
"I do not tolerate bullying in this hallway , not in this school and certainly not from my class"

Miss Zoe looked at Annabelle with slight anger.
"Ohhh heyy Miss Zoe. Me and Orph- i mean Leah Here was just having a friendly conversation, nothing big yk"
Annabelle said with a highly pitched fake voice.
Ugh please let it be the first and last time i hear it from her ever again.
"Move along"
Miss zoe pointed them to scoot away from us.
Annabelle looked at me with one more disgust before turning to Miss Zoe and smiled.

The skunks ran along with boys chasing after their butts .
I stood there beside my friends qs they tried comfort me and telling me its alright.  until miss zoe approach to me.

"You okay?"
She said with a stern yet worried tone.
Once again the hallway became slightly
"Uhh yea. I think so"
I heard whispers and talking all around the hallway , people staring at me weirdly . Did i do smtg wrong?
"Good . If you need help u can come over my office to see me"
She walked away with no hesitation.
I stood there with confusion. And turned to my friends. Only to see them with their mouths open wide .
Same goes to the other students around us.
"You needa tell us wtf happen during that conversation u had with Miss hottie"
Dianne said.
We all laughed and head to the cafeteria to have lunch.
