part twelve

you stepped away from schlatt moments later to go fool around with mason, who you had learned was the "reckless" one of the group. he kept wanting to do stupid shit and you would say no but then end up going anyway. this continued for hours until it eventually got dark. you were having so much fun with mason you didn't even notice the jealous eyes watching you two hangout.

time skip to dark~

you walked next to cameron as he approached a skeleton, it was kind of gross to look at but even grosser that the boys kept touching it and even telling bucks to eat it. you didn't think anyone actually would until travis did. it was disgusting but you didn't say anything cause you truly didn't know how to react to that. you decided to just go find someone else to hangout with before they did something else dumb.

you seen mason talking to the camera man so you decided to go to him. as you approached mason he grabbed your arm, pulling you with him to go find sausages. he began talking to the camera and you tried to hold in your laughter. 

"alright. you can't see me, but me and y/n are on a quest for sausages right now." you walked beside mason as he walked towards the van.

"what the fuck are these sausages bro?" you giggled but kept walking with him. he climbed in and looked in the back, looking for a good two minutes before giving up.

"well?"

"no luck. i don't know where the sausages are.."

you both left the van dissatisfied and hungry but you were both laughing none the less, mason at one point had put his arm around which made you blush and had made someone else who'd seen it very..very jealous.

as it started to rain softly, you took that time as a distraction and quickly put your hood on as you went through the trees to the other campfire. chad was the first to greet you.

"oh hey y/n!" you smiled as chad put his arm around you.  "guys why did we put y/n with those helpless boys? do you want a sausage?" you giggled but of course accepted. you had a quick chat with everyone until taking another sausage and going back to the dreadful campsite you had to stay in. all though it wasn't all too dreadful. you had schlatt. and mason was growing on you.

"what the fuck! y/n totally bailed on us and got food! also it's raining!" schlatt yelled out as it started to rain a little harder and he came towards you. you handed him the sausage and he took a bite giving it back to you. this definitely earned a small playful glare from cooper who was also hungry but wasn't getting the special schlatt treatment.

"so unfair y/n. i'm your best friend and you picked schlatt over me."

"it's cause i like schlatt more." schlatt raised his eyebrows and gave cooper a cocky grin.

"hear that cooper? she likes me more."

"yeah keep it up schlatt and i won't like either of you." you smiled at him, trying not to giggle.

"yeah yeah. sorry who's sweater are you wearing?"

"piss off."

a little while later , everyone was complaining about the rain so they set up the tents. but then they complained about them being wet. no shit. you couldn't really blame them though. you wouldn't wouldn't wanna sleep in a wet tent either. you were getting really tired though.

you all sat around the fire, eating hot dogs or sausages whatever. schlatt sat in the chair next to you and cooper was on the other side of you. you were pretty sure both of them had realized you were tired and a little bit drunk but that's besides the point.

the guys all went inside the air bnb and curled up in a corner. the guys being noah, cooper, schlatt, and you beside schlatt. he had his arms around you and your face was buried in his chest, slowly falling asleep. you could hearing laughter from chad and the boys but you really didn't care why they were laughing you were so tired and so comfortable.

schlatt rubbed your back soothingly, occasionally running his fingers through your hair and placing a kiss on your head every five minutes or so. it was enough to put you completely out of it. but you eventually woke up a little while later when the boys decided to go outside to check on the tents. you didn't want to get up so schlatt carried you on his back like a child. you were like a literal child. your head rested on his shoulder, barely conscious and still a bit tipsy so it was better that you were tired. he held your legs tightly and you could feel yourself start to fall asleep again, even with all the boys yelling and schlatt having to move you up every so often so you wouldn't fall. he was sweet for carrying you.

you did have to get off him eventually, but he held you up by his side. you were leaning against him for support as he showed the camera man his weird asmr that really wasn't asmr. he laughed and it was quite loud but you didn't really mind, only because his laugh was so nice sounding to you. or it might've just been because you were tired either way you didn't care. he took you to where he was sleeping and you laid down beside him, almost instantly passing out.

schlatts pov:

y/n laid down next to me and i could see she was about to pass out. she seemed really tired. i mean she was hanging off of me. but i didn't really mind. i'm glad it was me and not mason. or cameron. or anyone for that matter. she chose me and that's all that matters. i looked down at her again, her soft snores breaking my thoughts. she was out like a light. she looked so peaceful thought. so cute. so angelic even when she slept. i knew she wasn't perfect, i mean c'mon who is, but she just seemed so surreal to me.

she moved in her sleep, wrapping her arm around my torso. i returned the favour almost instantly, wrapping my arm around her so she was close to me. it was crazy. even after being outside working all day, she still smelt amazing and fresh. it was the perfect way to end a day like this. i didn't even need the stupid asmr when i had y/n next to me. i smiled as i seen her face move, probably lost in dreamland. my eyelids started to get heavy as i watched her. knowing i could fall asleep any moment, i buried my face in her neck. i could feel her breath on my skin and i'm sure if she was awake she would feel mine. we were so close and the contact was enough to make me fall asleep peacefully in minutes. complete and utter peace. only with y/n in my arms.
