Adams POV.

Something about today felt different. I Couldn't exactly put my finger on it but, it felt like more smiles were given to me. even one of the servants children I came to me and gave me a rose, most likely from the garden. On top of that, Tadashi was dismissing work he thought was to useless, when for me to look at

I was currently sitting at my desk twisting the rose that the child from earlier gave me, with my thumb and index finger. Tadashi had left to go get a vase for the rose.

Not too long later I heard a knock at my door. I didn't need to question who it was so I immediately answered "come in" and as expected the green eyed male walk through the door with a small vase in his hands.

Tadashi then set the partially full vase on my desk. I continue twisting the Rose between my fingers for a little bit longer before I asked " hey is there anything special that's supposed to be going on today" Tadashi had a shocked look on his face before saying " sir... Did you... forget today is your birthday?" it was now my turn to be shock. I put the rose in the vase and quickly grab my phone and check the date and it was, in fact May 1st

I heard tanashi let out a sigh of disappointment before saying " is there anything I can do for you, for your birthday, sir" I automatically knew what I wanted but decided to think for a little bit on how much I'd lose from this action. I proceeded to rest my thumb and index finger on my chin and weighing out the pros and cons. I finally came to the decision there was barely nothing to lose from this action so I finally spoke up and said " kiss me" I looked confident on the outside but on the inside I was having a mini panic attack. Tadashi looked shocked

He continue to look shocked for a minute. after that minute I got impatient, closing my eyes, turning my head to the left, crossing my arms, and begin pouting while saying " you don't have to if you don't want to" Tadashi sounded like he began to panic before saying " no, no it's not like that...-" Tadashi words stumbled off.

not too long later I felt Tadashi grab my chin and turn my head facing him. before he begin to finish this sentence " - I just didn't think you'd want some mutt like me to kiss you".... " What...?" What's the only thing I could say before i felt a pair of lips on my. I immediately forgot what i was going to say.  Even if i didn't want to,I just melted into the kiss

I just closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of the man i loved lips on mine
