Sophie-
My morning didn't get off to a great start, Jessica was back from having the flu, she told me every single thing that happened every second for the last three weeks and there was a lot of talk of mucus. As well as that my new mini skirt was riding up my thighs and I had to keep pulling it back down.
I sat in my seat in maths, sadly next to Jessica who was now telling me about the eye infection she caught. Teddy was across the classroom with Jackson, he smiled and waved then sat down, Teddy's been my boyfriend since we were 14, we're 17 now, and I don't regret a minute that I spent being his girlfriend. Yes, I could of dated a thousand other boys by now, but none of them would be as hot as him, he's my teddy bear.
Mr Banks silences the class.
"we have a new girl today," he announces, "This is Anya."
I look up to see a gorgeous brunette stood at the front of the class, she has dark brown eyes and is wearing a lilac sweater and white jeans.
"Anya would you like to go and sit next to the boys there?" he asks gesturing to the seat next to Teddy.
She nods and sits down. Immediately, I start to get possesive. 'calm down Sophie' I think to myself 'she's nowhere near as pretty as you and besides, Teddy is very committed.'
Teddy:
The new girl comes and sits by my side. Her name's Anya and damn she's hot. I see Sophie glaring at me and I look away.
"Do you have a pen?" Anya asks, she has a beautiful English accent.
I look through my bag and then hand her my best pen. I can feel Sophie's eyes burning into the back of my neck. What? I mouth. Duh, She mouths back. I turn back around and face mr Banks, who is shaking his head at me.
"Who's the girl?" Anya asks gesturing to Sophie.
"Oh thats Sophie," I tell her, I don't know why, but something unconscious in my mind won't let me say that she's my girlfriend.
It's not like I haven't gotten used to it yet, we've been together since we were freshmen. The truth is, I'm getting kinda sick of Sophie. Yes she's pretty and sweet, but I need more than that, I need someone smart and honest and kind with a good sense of humor, and most of all, I need someone who isn't just with me because of my looks. I'm beginning to think that I wasted highschool on one girl.
Anya-
The first day is always hard, and believe me I've had a few. First there was St John's Primary, then we moved to America and it was Sun Valley elementary, then Harbor View middle school, then Maple Hills middle school, then Saint Mary's school for girls and now finally Rosewood high.
It's not like any of these schools weren't good enough, infact, they were great and I made tons of friends, but my family moves around a lot. This year, I'm not gonna make any friends, I've made a pact to myself, I'll only have to say goodbye to them when I leave for college. Besides, I didn't have much hope when the first girl that I saw scowled at me like I was a freaking terrorist. she then started to anxiously rub at the lines on her forehead, I'm assuming to avoid getting wrinkles.
The boy next to me seemed nice though, I think his name was Teddy. I hope I didn't lead him on. We were smiling at each other a lot. I really hope not. Boy drama is the furthest thing from my bucket list this year.
But god damn Sophie Robinson, I could have some trouble with her.
