Chapter 16: Epilogue: Aftermath

Nothing much happened when they "got in trouble", just  a slap on the wrist, then changing, and talking some more during P. E..

Devanne couldn't wait till they left this place and went home to have dinner with her parents.

The rest of the day was all butterflies from there while filling everyone in on what he was like. She couldn't help but burst at the seams of swooning over him and bragging about how amazing and sweet he is.

She couldn't remember the last time she blushed this hard since she listened to Four by One Direction all the way through the other day, and it's pretty intense if it's worse than that.

She couldn't stop thinking about him, introducing him to her parents, meeting his mom, and their future together. It was all so much, and when the day was finally all over, he drove her to her house in his big, jacked up truck to drop her off at her parents. Then, going back home to get ready for the dinner at her house with her family as it was traditional that the families get together and get to know each other when their kids find each other.

"Bye Jacoby, I'll see you later," she said and waved, kissing him on the cheek. She was about to get out but he grabbed her by her wrist, mid fall to the ground. She gasped and looked up at his barely visible hand that was hung over the seat. He slowly pulled her back up into the cab of the truck until she was in the seat, then he half pulled her, half let her crawl on her knees back to him. Once she was close enough to him, he grabbed her by her hips and lifted her over to straddle his lap while in the drivers seat.

"Where do you think you're going without a meaningful kiss to your SM?" He asks and she smiled, oh at how she loved to hear him say that.

"Oh, you mean like this?" She said and grabbed him by his cheeks and pulled his face to hers. It started out slow and sweet but as every second passed, it heated up. Then it ended up hungrily making out.

She ran her fingers through his thick and dark, wavy hair as he ran his hands up and down her back. He started to go under her shirt but she abruptly stopped and swatted his hands away.

"No," she said sternly while pointing at him and he just laughed because he thought she was cute when she was mad.

"But, I really, really, really want this with you though. Doesn't that count?" He whined and she was flattered.

"No, Jacoby. You know, my daddy told me that boys only want one thing," she said holding up one finger and he rubbed her calves, thighs, then bum but she swatted him away again.

"Well we all want it but you know, we're together now so it shouldn't matter but I understand if you don't want to," he admits, because she was still fourteen. She can't even drive yet. Oh what was he going to do with it all?

"I know but it matters to me, I'm.... scared and too young for it all yet, and plus, we just found each other today so this shouldn't even be happening for a while," she said, motioning between them.

"I understand, and I will wait as long as it takes. I'm not in a rush even though I want it. I understand your reasoning," he said, still understanding and as enthusiastic as ever. She pecked his lips after he laid his head on the headrest behind him.

"Gosh, you're too sweet, I don't deserve you," she said, wiping at her tears.

"Honestly, you deserve better," he said lowly while helping her wipe her tears and she hit his chest.

"I couldn't want more though,"

"Awe, well now I'm the one that doesn't deserve you, my love, and we all want more," he said mockingly, and she rolled her eyes while climbing off of his lap.

"You probably don't, but you know, it was destined to be so I guess we're going to have to put up with each other," she said sarcastically, and he laughed but then turned serious.

"But I am glad that I have you," he said while squeezing her hand that was in his, and he couldn't help but think of how beautiful she was, and at how promising her eyes were.

"Me too," she said, then pecked him on the lips once more and hopped down.

"I love you, Devanne!" He said when he caught a glimpse of her walking to her house.

"I love you, Jacoby!" She said while waving. He waved back then pulled away.

She walked in, threw her stuff down, and told her parents all about how amazing he was as they watched her excited and happily.

When she ascended the stairs after getting ready, she was just in time to run to the door when the doorbell rang.

"Hello beautiful," he said while leaning down and kissing her on the cheek, sneaking a quick peck on the lips before anyone saw then walking on in past her as she fainted a little. He smelled amazing and just his cologne was enough to make her melt, and weak at the knees.

"My mother should be coming in in a minute," he said and she nodded while looking out the door for his mother, and when she caught sight of her, she was a little astounded. He looked exactly like his mother, making her wonder what his father had to offer to make the beautiful creation that was her SM.

"Hi darling, you must be Devanne, I'm Cecelia, Jacoby's mother. He hasn't stopped talking about you since he got home," she smiled. She had dark hair like Jacoby and was short and plump unlike his tall, slim, and lean figure. Other than that, they looked exactly alike.

"He has?" Devanne asks while eyeing Jacoby and he mouths "What can I say?" while shrugging his shoulders, making her laugh before turning back to his mother and they shared a smile.

"Yes, he has," Cecilia said.

Cecilia and Jacoby, she said silently to herself.

The dinner was a success and afterwards they just sat and talked until it was beyond time to be in bed.

They went to school together everyday after that, and she helped him move on from Austin. It was a relief and a weight off of his shoulders.

They had the time of their lives, getting high off of life with each other.

They were "the cutest couple", as their friends called them until he graduated. Even with him graduated, they were still a cute couple.

They were inseparable and did everything together as if they were already married, but they soon tied the knot anyway, following the week soon after she graduated.

Now, as they lay in their bed in their own home somewhere in the middle of their parents' houses that he started building right after they found each other, she imagined that their kids would be beautiful together.

Ten years later, she was proven right.

They had a little girl who they named Constance Darlene which they called Connie for short, and a little boy soon after named Hadrian Robert, with three years in between then another little girl four years later whose name was Raegan Nevaeh. They split their middle names among the kids and they wore his last name proudly.

Who knew programed love could be this amazing.
