scripting

In my opinion, scripting is the important part of your shifting journey.

It is basically writing out what your shifting experience will entail. It will follow what you've written and will make your shifting journey is more customisable and enjoyable.

For example, it's like writing a fanfiction about yourself (in your DR). Your script can be either very detailed, or not— it won't make any difference, it just gives you some sort of reassurance about what will happen during your time there.

For example,
Hogwarts scripts are usually along the lines of;
• My name is _______.
• I am in ____ (house).
• I am in ____ year.
• My close friends are ____.
• My parents are _____.
• My wand is ______.
• My patronus is _____.

However, it is all up to you! You don't even need to have a script, it's all optional. I didn't use a script for a long time, but the more educated I became about this subject— I decided it would be more concrete to use one.

Safe Word.

A safe word (in scripting) is a word or a phrase, even an action— that transports you back to your CR. Your safe word can be anything, and don't be unnerved if you don't have one, you will NOT get "trapped" in your DR. This is another reason I recommend scripting, as it gives you more reassurance (like i previously stated) and won't give you anxieties about what will happen.

If you are confused, or have any questions— please state them!! I will gladly answer them, and i'm sure there are plenty of discord servers (dedicated to shifting) or other shifters eager to answer them also.

You will shift, I believe in you!
