I had your ring
I have your ring
What the fuck happened in that basement?
It started as a fear of suffocation
You hear the parrot speaking in tongues
You see the carpet stained with your blood
But the beauty of the foundation
In the house you had once resided
The lot with vast memories and history
Has since been subsided
It's all gone
All the evidence unknowingly held you accountable for your wrongs
But as of lately I've been questioning what's really going on
Because your posture is off
You're wide eyed and your weight drops in numbers
You've began to twitch
Your cheeks are changing colors
With winter fast approaching
I see you growing eager in your trances
The vile you suppress?
Well, in your throat it dances
The harm you embody
Has been leaking through your pores
Evil defines your existence
I see through the bullet holes in the doors
You became too comfortable in your murderous endeavors
But I know that in the walls of that basement
You've hidden your collected treasures
I will come back
I will remember every detail
Down to the stitching in your clothing
To no avail will you curtail
I know what you are capable of as your plans implode before you
Rust erodes your tear ducts, dry.
It was easy for you to turn a blind eye
Didn't you question the trail you'd left before me?
While you were plotting another, I was inspecting
Another body rotting and you're objecting
No rest, and no peace in mind
History will repeat itself, hindsight
