Shahzaib sighed looking at the laptop, he needs to attend this one meeting. Its important, he has worked hard to get this tender. Although he can get it easily as per his mafia reputation but thought of his little wife not liking this way of his work, makes him choose the harder path. And here he has to face the disappointment of his uncle.

'I am only doing this for you, baccha.' He thought thinking about their last conversation.

On the other hand, shahnoor heard the heartbreaking conversation of Mr. Raees. Making her eyes blurry with the unsheded tears as she look down.
Mr. Raees got up from the sofa and turn around when his eyes caught the innocent sight of his daughter-in-law. He walked towards her as she look down.

"I was just passing by." She said with a quiet tone.

Mr. Raees exhale before he placed his right hand on her head.

"He must be really busy, or else why would he try to loose this beautiful moment? Don't worry we all are here with you and he will soon come back." Mr. Raees tried to assure her not to feel alone.

"He isn't coming tomorrow?" She asked again, praying that he would say that its not true.

"Unfortunately no meri bacchi (My daughter), but he will be back soon. And tomorrow your aunty and rania is going for some shopping for the chaand raat and Ramadan, you should go with them." Mr. Raees said, folding his hands behind his back.

"Its okay, I'll better be here. Besides I don't need anything." Shahnoor said with a disheartened smile.

'How can I go with them? They don't like me and I don't have any money though.' She thought, inhaling lightly.

"This is your house, you have your own responsibilities towards it. I hope you understand it and tomorrow you should go with your aunty as it will help you to understand your responsibilities better." He said with a smile as he tapped shahnoor's head before walking away.

With crease on her forehead as in deep thinking, shahnoor's form retreated. Making her way to her room, she plopped down on the bouncy mattress of the king size bed. Her dark green orbs fixed at the small chandelier. Her mind bombard different questions on her being, questions like what is she doing? What is she even trying to do? Will she be able to find the motive of her messed life? Will he accept her the way a husband should? Will their relationship ever be normal? Why didn't he showed up yet? Does he not to want to spend this blessed month with her? Does he...miss farah? Sighing heavily in tiredness she turned to her right and curled up into a ball.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

The annoying ringtone pierced into the curtains of her ears as she made sounds of irritation. Than the phone died and she exhale in relief but soon it started ringing again. Frustratingly she stood up and Look at the caller ID.

Ammi.

She picked up the phone, sitting down on the cold floor near the D shape balcony.

"Assalamu alaikum." She greeted in a dull tone.

"Walaikum assalam meri beti (my daughter), what happened? Why are you sounding so dull?" Mrs. Rukhsar asked, getting concerned over her daughter's voice.

Shahnoor regretted picking her mother's call, it is only making her more sad. She can't understand why so? Tears after tears flowed down her cheeks as she sniffed quietly. But her mother knew that something is wrong and the light sniffing sounds were of her silent cry.

"Meri jaan (My darling), tell me what happened?" Mrs. Rukhsar asked getting restless.

"Ammi..he..he.. doesn't wa-nt to..to spend..rama-ramadan with me." Shahnoor said, stuttering. Mrs. Rukhsar brows drawn together in confusion of what happened?
