Making a Decision

Lucy held her whip at her side, ready to unfurl it at the beast who stood in front of her as soon as it moved. She needed to act quickly, they were already out of the mountain, the beast taking off in flight as soon as they saw them in a distant, and headed towards the small village that had hired them. Rushing back to defend the people, they had gotten split up and, of course, Lucy was the first to encounter it. She knew she had to wait, she had to react as soon as the beast did, hoping it lunged towards her and not in the direction of the house eerily close to its back leg or the house opposite of that one, which was right next to its unfurled wing. She knew if she made the first move, the wyvern would go off in any direction and most likely trample the small huts. 

 But her waiting payed off, the wyvern got impatient and yowelled before coming at her. She raised the whip, ready to wrap it around its neck, and had her hand next to Virgos key so she could detain the beast with chains, but before she could do anything the beast was burned. 

Along with the houses that surrounded them, and the poor small huts made of straw and wood went  up into flames. 

Natsu came bounding towards her in the fire and jumped at her, grabbing her and tossing her behind him before looking at the Wyvern and calling Happy over. "Go tell the others the dragon wannabees over here." Happy replied with an 'Aye' and flew off to gather the other three. 

-Lucy's P.O.V- 

"Natsuuuu! Why would you do that you burned like, 5 houses down." I screamed out. Right as i was about to Lucy kick him, The Wyvern growled again catching my attention. I quickly called Virgo out while the beast was still down and injured, and told Natsu to put his fire out so i  could hold it. He swallowed the flames which gave my spirit the go ahead, and she immediately got to work restraining it. 

Once the other three arrived, they quickly got to work on killing the beast before realizing all the damage that was done. With the wyvern flying over and knocking stuff down, Natsu's fire, and Grays accidental ice skewers he would make when he thought he saw anything that even resembled a wyvern the town was in shambles. Over half the buildings and land was destroyed. Animals that were locked up in pastures roamed free in the village and the ground was scorched. 

'Well there goes my rent money' I sighed to myself. 

All six of us started off towards the Chief's house and on the way Lisanna kept asking Natsu if he was okay and had any injuries, while Erza told Gray off for the damage. When we finally got there and told him what happened he gave us a whopping 1500 jewels and sent us on our way. Split between all of us,  we each got 250 jewels. Thats practically nothing! I couldnt even buy groceries with that! I groaned as we got on the train, knowing i was going to have to take another solo mission, which ive seemed to be doing a lot lately, in order to pay off my rent and buy food for my team which had bottomless stomachs. Seriously! It seemed like Lisanna and I are the only two that eat like normal people! 

I was brought out of my thoughts as Natsu threw himself over my lap. 

"Lushyyyyyyyyyy, rub my head please." Knowing good and well i couldnt deny the fire dragon slayer i brought my hand down and raked through his silky salmon hair. He looked up at me with a pale face and grinned before turning his head where my exposed stomach was, inhaling  and passing out into a deep sleep. I leaned my head back on the seat, and noticed everyone had passed out except for Lisanna and I, we both shared a smile and giggle before following in pursuit of our teammates.

When i woke up, we were at a stop in another city. Knowing we had a few hours left to go i tried to snuggle into the seat before realizing there was an unknown heat inside of skirt. Glancing down at the still sleeping Natsu, i saw that his arm that he was laying on had somehow gotten under my thigh, and the bastardly hand was now gripping the inside of said thigh. My face heated up and i thanked the heavens for my teammates being asleep. Right when i was about to wake him up the train lurched and Natsu's hand moved up to grab onto something to stabilize him. And that something was my butt. But oh no that wasn't it, when he moved his hand up my skirt shifted and he dug his face right in the middle of my thighs. I squeezed my legs together trying not to make any noise, but i couldn't help the small squeak that escaped my lips. I looked down and i swear i saw Natsu grin before his face went slack into sleep again. 

Deciding this was way too embarrassing i shoved him off my lap and he fell onto the floor. 

"Wh- What the hell Luce?! I was comfyyyy." He groaned out.

"I dont care if you were comfy. I. Was. Not. Now go lay on Lisanna's lap or something."

"C'mon Lucyyy dont be like that. This was the first time in forever that i was actually comfortable and-" his face turned green at the rumble of the train, "-and i didnt feel my sickness. Can i please lay with you. I promise to make it up, i swear." 

I sighed in defeat and shifted in the seat so he couldnt shove his face in my crotch again. Now, i was leaning back against the wall of the private compartment, with the leg on the outside slightly bent on the seat to maintain balance. Opening my arms i made a come here gesture and he dove on me before falling asleep again. This position was much more comfortable. Having been used to Natsu sneaking in my room, cuddling wasnt a big deal to me anymore. When night came it was always quite cold outside and the AC in our compartment was on full blast, so the heat that encompassed the parts of my body that Natsu was laying on was more than welcomed. Although his hair tickled my nose from his head laying on my shoulder, i was content and i fell into a slumber.
