The dining table and the background was all covered in very beautiful combination of purple, pink and blue lights. Jay couldn't stop awing the room.

"OH MY GOD!!!

Hyung this is so beautiful. Did you all do this???....

Wow! Just for me"

"I feel bad now, I didn't do enough for your birthdays' hyung", Jay turned towards his hyung to apologize before he was cut off by fingers being placed on it again.

Jay became silent again as he continued gawking at the room as heeseung guided him to sit down on one of the two chairs placed there.
'Two chairs....where are other chairs......are they hiding, ready to scare me and capture that for engenes.'

He sat down there when he saw Heeseung take out a mike and observed the newly set speaker system along with a keyboard keptin his left corner where heeseung was now standing. Heeseung was shining with the lights in his back looking ethereal to Jay.
'Company doesn't do a special treatment, so what's this???'

I felt myself freeze the moment he started singing gfriend sunbenim's Me Gustas Tu.

"My heart flutters toward you starting from today us"

I couldn't help but feel as a blush rose on I cheeks which I wished the lack of lighting would prevent him from singing.

"I'll send you my heart with the wind and the sunset."

He sang the song with the background vocals of our seniors, but they are different. 'Don't tell me he created a new one....'

"Me gustas tu gustas tu"

I couldn't help but drop my gaze under his heavy ones.

"We're both so shy we can't even say anything

But I wanna go closer to you"

'is he telling me this????'

"Like the flowers that sway in the wind

I don't know our future

But I'll be brave and confess to you"

'please someone tell me I am not sleeping'

Jay looked at his hyung and saw him already looking at him which made him look away again. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see his hyung pointing to the table.

"Su tu tu ru I like you"

I saw a beautiful letter decorated in my style along with 2 brand new bracelets, couple bracelets.

I picked the letter and saw a huge I LOVE YOU PARK JONGSEONG written in purple colour.

I went back to paying him attention as I saw him stop playing. Realising I am looking at him, he continued, but this time, he pulled me up and made me do the steps when I realised what he is singing.

"Let's stand facing each other

Let's not let go of our hands and let's promise

I'll give you precious memories

Please love me more than now

Like the clouds that flicker under the moonlight

Time keeps ticking

Now I'll be brave and confess to you"

He spoke the last line more like a statement before he pulled me along with him to sit on the 2 chairs kept next to each other, holding my arms.

"Jay-ah, let me finish this.
first of all I am very sorry, you are tired tonight. It's my doing. I asked maknae's to tire you out. With the amount of attention you give them, they are perfect for this job. Jakehoon helped me arrange and set this all up along with a little (lot) help from our staff.

What I am asking you, I want you to know, I have official permission for doing so, not just from the company but also from K hyung, senior Jun, soobin hyung and Kai.

Jay, I love you. I truly do and have been from the past year. But before I could confess, they told us about I-Land. I am sorry. I couldn't confess because of that. I had a small fear in my head; what if by an accident, or a single mistake, one of us gets eliminated while the other debuts. I was scared to imagine that situation. So I kept the feelings to myself and asked them to audition solo.

Then he sang one line which conveyed his feelings.

But it was what happened after that that shocked Heeseung.

"Even if you don't say it's love I can feel it

Jay sang the next part.

And together they completed the song, relieved that their feelings were no longer submerged, relieved that they could call the other as their own, relieved that this didn't break their friendship.

The moment they finished singing, Heeseung slowly leaned towards Jay's lips. The moment he got Jay's approval, his lips finally touched the soft ones of his beloved. Not only did the two feel butterflies in their stomachs ,they also heard the wall clock let out its hourly sound as it struck 12.

Heeseung pulled away a bit to speak a breathy Happy birthday, before their lips touched again. This time heeseung didn't hold himself back, as he poured all his love and sincerity into that one kiss turning it into a very passionate one.

Before anything could escalate, a flash went off. They pulled apart immediately, as panic took over their eyes, not to last too long as birthday song was heard along with the cameraman Niki and recorder Jake.

They cut the cake together and had a happy family time before their manager asked them to go to sleep. It was nearly 1:30 in the morning by then before they all dispersed.

Heejay were the last ones to sleep as they hadn't freshen up before. Both of them cuddled each other as they slept.

'this was definitely the best birthday'
