My Dad Founded Warped Tour (Vic Fuentes)

Hello There

Vans Warped Tour. A musical paradise to any human being who listens to  

alternative rock, punk rock, metal, hard-core,..... I think you get  

it. Anyway, back to where I was.

A tour that every band dreams of being on. A place where thousands of  

people desperately desire to go to every summer. A place to just go  

fucking nuts. A place that my dad founded.

My name is Sadie. Sadie Lyman. My dad, Kevin Lyman, founded Warped  

back in 1995.

I was born June 23, 1992. Three years later, my little sister Sierra  

was born on the same day. About two weeks later, the very first Warped  

Tour kicked off. Since then, Warped has been a huge part of our lives.  

We'd go to shows here and there throughout the years, but now, it just  

got a whole lot better.

Sierra and I are going on a whole Warped Tour! I've wanted to go on a  

full Warped since I was 16, but my dad said that I'd have to wait.  

Well, I guess my waiting time is up!

Three years of waiting, and I can finally experience the rush of  

setting up tents, running here and there, getting this and that done,  

and the most amazing privledge of all, seeing all my favorite bands!  

All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Breathe Carolina, Sleeping With Sirens,  

and most importantly, Pierce The Veil.

Of course Mayday's, ATL's, and Siren's lyrics hit me in the heart  

pretty often, but there's just something else with Pierce's. Vic's  

lyrics are.... Indescribable. Don't even get me started with his  

voice! He uses so much power and you could easily tell with any Pierce  

tune. I love each and every single detail the whole band puts into  

creating a song.

On Warped, Sierra is going to be one of the main DJ's at the Silent  

Disco, a place where anyone dances with headphones on to whatever  

music the DJ is playing. Without the headphones, it just looks like  

people dancing with no music.

I, on the other hand, am going to be a merch girl for whichever band  

needs it. Hopefully, and ocasionally, Pierce The Veil. I love them  

with all of my heart. We've established that.

Now, you might think that going on a nation wide tour with your sister  

and dad will be crazy. If you don't, well, you're mental.

Warped Tour is crazy as fuck.

Surprisingly, for the 19 year old that I am, I'm positively single.  

Sierra is searching as well. Since we're on Warped, we both would very  

much like to change that!

Do I like someone, you ask? Of course I do! But, you know, he's in a  

band and all. A very well-known band at that, and he's way older than  

me. He also doesn't know I exist! Well anyway, his band is on Warped  

this year. Nothing's gonna happen though, or so I thought.
