Wooyoung knows very well what 'heartbroken' means. He has experienced it two times and he was sure he would feel this soon again.

It was always the same girl, reborn. Her name was Eunji this time. He loved her so much that he couldn't give her up even after her refusing his love and eventually dying. He would search for her, find her, mark her, she would fall in love with another man and Wooyoung would be left heartbroken. This situation happened on a loop. He didn't quite believe in destiny, but he realised his life was indeed predestined and that he would never be able to change it.

He really hoped that this time, he could win her heart after two failed tries. But that didn't seem so plausible...

"Woo!"

Wooyoung turned around to face his friend who was calling out for him. "San! I told you not to get out of this room! Someone could see you!"

The elder Ganghan rolled his eyes. "Come on, Woo... It's been two months since me and Naeul have been hiding in this bedroom... I got sick of it!"

"Then why did you come back? Why didn't you stay in Busan? Why are you back after almost 18 years?"

"I missed you, my old friend!" San exclaimed and hugged Wooyoung's shoulders.

"Yeah, right..."

"Okay! I came back to take revenge maybe..."

"San!" Wooyoung scolded him and pushed his hand off his shoulder. "I don't want any trouble! I'm already in danger, because I'm hiding you here."

San laughed and smacked his friend's forehead. "I'm joking, chill!"

Although San said so, Wooyoung didn't think his friend was joking...

"Let me go! Where are you taking me?" The girl screamed as she was forced to enter a yard of a big building that seemed like a hotel.

The Carrier tried to calm down the young girl. "I have already explained it to you, miss... You are going to get married to a Ganghan, because-"

"What you said doesn't make sense!"

Wooyoung watched the Carrier trying to drag Eunji into the brides' dorm.

"Gwanyeop, leave her to me," he shouted to be heard as he approached them with strong steps.

The Carrier did as Wooyoung said, bowed slightly and walked away.

"'Leave her'? What am I? An object?!" Eunji scoffed.

"I didn't mean that, I-"

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I am Jung Wooyoung."

"And I am Ah Eunji. Nice to meet you. Now, tell me why are you getting involved in someone else's business," she mocked him.

Wooyoung giggled to her bossy behaviour. "Since you want to know so eagerly... I am your soon-to-be husband."

Eunji blinked a few times trying to process the information. "No, you misunderstood. I'm not marrying anyone. First of all, I'm under age."

"I know that."

"And second of all, I don't believe a word of what that man said earlier."

She was right. Why would she believe the Carrier? Humans have learned to believe only the things the are capable of seeing with their own eyes. All the other stuff was just nonsense and children's fairytales.

"Well,.. Then, I should persuade you, shouldn't I?" Wooyoung got closer to her and pointed at her shoulder. "I know that you have an hourglass-shaped mark at the back of your right shoulder."

The girl's jaw dropped. "How do you know that?"

"I know that, because I did it."

"You're kidding me, right?"

Wooyoung sighed. He had to find another way to convince her. He looked around him. "Alright... You see that flowerpot down there?"

Eunji turned her head towards the same direction, confused. "Yeah..."

"Just look at it." He said as he concentrated and tried to lift the object with the power of his mind. He actually succeeded in doing it and led the flowerpot in Eunji's hands, who caught it and examined it, wide-eyed.

"H-how..."

"I'm a Ganghan and my superpower is telekinesis. Now, do you believe me?"

The young girl shook her head. "Not quite-"

She couldn't finish her phrase, because she was lifted up in the air, floating some centimetres above the ground.

"Okay! I believe you! Put me down!"

Eunji put her hands on her pounding heart when her feet touched the floor again making the Ganghan chuckle at her overreaction.

"I wouldn't drop you, you know... Unless I wanted to."

Eunji growled at him. "You are horrible!"

Her words snapped him out of his bitchy attitude. "I'm sorry..." he murmured and lowered his head.

Eunji realised she was being to harsh on him and cleared her throat. "You know what? Thank you for bringing me here. I wanted to leave my... home anyway..." she mumbled pronouncing the word 'home' with a suspicion of pain.

Wooyoung knew his bride was abused back to her house. And he felt really sorrowful for that. However, he felt relieved that he managed to get her out of there even if that girl would be forced to marry him.

"Where am I gonna live?" she changed the conversation, since the atmosphere was getting heavy and she was already regretful for saying too much about her life to a perfect stranger.

"For the time being, you're staying here, in the brides' dorm."

"For the time being?" she yelled, shocked. "Wait-... Where am I gonna live next?!"

Wooyoung put his hands in his pockets and simply said: "After the wedding, you'll live at my residence."
