3rd Person POV

"You can't keep hiding in your apartment and calling out sick due to chronic migraines." Kara tells Willow, sitting down at the kitchen counter in a black simple dress

Willow walks out from her bedroom in her PJs, tying her hair into a ponytail, and walking over to the counter. She looks at Kara, turning her head slightly. "How did you even get in here?"

"Haven't heard from you in almost a week." Kara says. "James has an extra key to your apartment that he let me borrow." She says, holding up the key to Willow's apartment

Kara puts the key down on the counter, sliding it across to Willow who claps her hand over it to stop the key

"Do you want something to drink?" Willow asks Kara, putting the spare key in a counter bowl behind her

"I want to know why you still won't come to work." Kara says. "And why you keep saying you're sick with migraines." She repeats her statement

"Technically now, it's a heart problem." Willow mumbles, grabbing a cup from her cabinet, remembering the new information she had learned from her attempted escape with Marvin

"What?" Kara asks

"Nothing." Willow sighs, turning to her sink and filling her cup with some water

"You found something out, didn't you?" Kara questions, watching Willow carefully

"I might have." Willow whispers, stopping the faucet

"Tell me." Kara says, standing up from her seat

Willow takes a sip of water, contemplating what she should tell Kara. She pulls the cup away, staring at Kara for a moment

"Well?" Kara asks. "What did you find out? Something that could help you not be terminated, maybe?"

Willow sighs and looks down, putting her cup down on the counter. "I found out that this might be harder than we thought."

"What's that mean?" Kara asks

"They put a tracker in me." Willow says, her eyes moving to Kara's

"Okay." Kara says. "So we take it out. We've got plenty of tools and supplies at the DEO that we can use. Alex is great at--"

"It's not that easy." Willow tells her

"Oh..." Kara whispers. "So you found something bad out..."

"Yeah." Willow answers. "The tracker is in my blood." Kara stares, listening intently. "I tried to escape a few days ago."

"What?" Kara asks in a whisper, shocked

"Yeah." Willow says. "And it didn't go well. As soon as I crossed the California state line...it was like my body was on fire. My veins and eyes were glowing green and my heart was burning. It felt like my blood was boiling."

"They...they put a tracker in your blood?" Kara clarifies

"Yup." Willow says. "And I haven't heard from them for a while which means that they either don't know I tried to escape or they're waiting until they get here to give me repercussions." She looks down at the counter, her fingers fiddling against the countertop. "And I don't think it's the first possibility..."

"Willow..." Kara breathes. "We...we have to figure this out fast then. We have to help you. Figure out a way to get this tracker out of your blood."

"I'm not sure it's going to be possible." Willow says

Kara realizes. "What else do you know?" She asks, turning her head and waiting for the answer

"It's my heart." Willow says, looking at Kara. "It's a theory as of now but...but I've been giving it a lot of thought." She pauses
