Chapt3r F1v3 - Caleb's POV

"Uh, yeah! I have alot of... Friends" I lied, not to sound ignorant.

We reach the nurse office with them still talking. The nurse was already on the door, maybe the teacher told her?

"Sit down, Dear Liam. Let me treat your wounds and you, wait for me" she spoke softly to them and harshly at me. Nodding, I sat at the other bed.

"What happened this time, Dear Liam?" the nurse voice was soothingly asking them. "Oh nothing, just falling down the stairs and accidentally hitting head with Caleb"

Wait, falling? But I ran and hit them? Why would they lied?

"I swear to God if he hurt you, I'm not gonna treat his wounds" She said harshly, I flinched. "Hey, don't be so rude to my Savior, he brought me here anyway." they let out a low chuckle.

After a few minutes, the nurse came to my sides and treated my wounds. Done with the bandages, she gave me and them a paper.

We both walk on the hall quietly, they were limping so I help them. Wait, why are they limping?

"Uhm... Why did you lied?" broke the silence, awkward silence

"Don't you know me? I'm Liam, The Liam D'land" they say in proud

"Who?" Liam D'land? Land??? What-

Their hand flew to their chest and they groan. My eyes widened and worried immediatly rushing through my head. "A-ARE YOU OKAY??" I quickly ask

"Ughhh.... That actually hurt my feelings- do you really don't know me?" They look at me with, a puppy eyes. "Uuuhhhh, no?"

"Oh wow, I thought you did. I mean I am The Liam, everyone knew me. Surprisingly, someone doesn't" they stood away from me with left hand on hips. Wait, did they fake their limping.

"Wait... You can stand just fine, did you-" I was cut with a sudden finger on my mouth.

"Shhh, forget that. Do you really don't know me?" they spoke in low voice.

I shook my head, slowly. They removed their hand away and sigh while running their hand on that magnificent hair... Wait- FOCUS CALEB-

But, not gonna lie... They look good with hair up.

"Whew, been a long time since I introduced myself without someone yelling my name. I'm Liam D'land, I transferred here from month ago and people quickly knew who I was Sooo... Yeah! Now you know who I am" they smirk.

"Oh, okay... But I have class to attend now. I'll see you again?" I wanna end the awkwardness by meeting again soon, and I would probably be ready to talk to them later on.

"Yeah, sure. Usually, people would like to stay my by side as long as they can" they murmured louds enough for me to hear.

"Right... Uhm bye" I spin around and walk away.

"One more thing... I'm a He, I'm not they/them. For your information, people tends to call me They/them alot."

I look at them again, but their already gone. He...

I ran to my class again.

I'll just take my book on the way-

On my last class, I keep thinking about them... I mean he. Last time I look at them, the room were shining for them. Their eyes were orange as the sun... Freckles were very visible...

He look, nothing like them... Or am I just confused, now that I see them up close.

"Two student are still absence, Can someone help me find them?" The teacher spoke inbetween the students murmured. Everyone didn't pay attention, but I went infront.

"Yes Caleb? Do you like to help me? I don't want to start class without all of my students, that's my priorities after all" He say in soft voice.

"yeah, since class hasn't start yet, I'll help" Giving him a big smile. He returned them and gave me a piece of paper, with names on them.

Now I regret this-

2. Samantha Que

Really... Jackson again??? I keep bumping into him- WTF

I brush off the second name, knowing it's just another girls name.

After excusing myself to the teacher, I walk to the hall to begin my search.
