Chapter 2: school

Beep beep beep
I seriously hate alarms I mean I no they help us get up in the morning to get the day started but most of us people aren't morning people so leave us alone. I sat up on the bed rubbing my eyes as I hopped out of bed and went off to have a shower hopefully that would wake me up a little. I grabbed my towel and walked over to the bathroom before I shut the door and stripped down before turning the shower on and once the water was right I hopped in and began to wash myself.

After I finish in the shower I dried myself and wrapped the towel around me before walking back to my room. I chucked on my undergarments with denim shorts and a white top with the words shut up and hug me on it in black bold letters. I slipped on my black converse and put my hair in a side braid before I grabbed my phone and my bag and opened my curtains up before walking down for breakfast.

"Hi honey breakfast will be ready soon but can you help Jack get ready for school?" Mum asked as I nodded and put my bag on the stool before I put my phone in my pocket. I walked up to my brothers room and opened the door to see him with a shirt stuck on his head as I laughed and walked over to him.

"Here let me help you" I said as I pulled the shirt over his head and put his arms in the arm holes before he smile at me.

"Thank you" he said as I smiled and went to grab his shoes and socks as he sat down on his bed and I sat on the floor as I but his socks on then his shoes. Once I was finished I stood up and he grabbed his bag before we walked down to the kitchen to see mum dishing up breakfast. We both sat down at the table and mum brang us our breakfast as we thanked her and dug in.

Once we finished I helped clean up before I grabbed my bag and said bye to my little bro before I walked out to my car and hopped in with my bag on the passenger seat and drove off to school. It wasn't a long drive but there was a lot of people there when I pulled up and it was hard to find a car spot but I did eventually and I parked there and turned the car off.

I grabbed my bag and hopped out of the car before I shut the door and locked it as I put my bag over my back. First day of school lets see how this goes I took a deep breath and made my way into the massive building that we call school. People were looking at me and talking as I made my way to the office to get my timetable which made me feel selfcouncios and I picked up the speed I was walking at.

Soon I found a sigh with the words office printed on them as I opened the door and walked in to see a lady around her 30s on a computer. I walked up to the desk and her head popped up as she smile at me. She had blue eyes and dirty blond hair that was tied back into a neat bun.

"Can I help you?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yes um I'm new here and I was wondering if I could get my timetable?" I asked as she smiled and nodded.

"You must be Rose welcome to richville high" she said as I smiled and opened her draws to look for something when the bell went well I'm late on my first day yay.

"Ah here's your timetable and I'll just get someone to show you around the school" she said as I thanked her and took the timetable off her as she grabbed the phone and she began to talk to someone. Once she was finished she put the phone down and looked at me.

"Just take a seat and someone will be here to show you around" she said as I nodded and took a seat on one of the chairs as I decided to look around. The office was pretty simple with a clock on the wall and a vase with flowers in it on the desk and another door which music be what the lady walks in to be behind the desk.

There was pictures of previous year 12s on the walls which was a lot of students. Just then the door opened and in walked a girl around my age with black hair and brown eyes as she was talking to the lady at the desk then turned to me and walked over to me with a massive smile on her face.

"Hi I'm Monique I'm going to be showing you around the school" she said as I smiled and stood up.

"Thanks and I'm Rose" I said as she nodded.

"Nice name well let's get this tour of the school underway" she said as we walked out of the office and began to walk down the hallway.

"So how was your previous school?" She asked.

"Good I had a lot of friends there" I replied as she smiled and we walked past a trophy cabinet with a lot of trophies in it and a few classrooms.

"Well there is some things you should know about this school" she said as we walked outside to see the massive football field. We walked back inside and she showed me around some more.

"Well first off stay away from the populars because they will make your life hell. Also everyone has basically already sorted out their friends but you can hang out with me oh and there's a party tonight at mine if you want to come it's like a back to school party" she said as I nodded well I think I made my first friend and today wasn't turning out bad yet which was good.

"Okay" I said as we reached the cafeteria and she looked at me like she forgot something.

"Oh I forgot stay away from Nathan Parker he is a big player and the number one bad boy of the school so unless you want him to get in your pants I suggest you keep away from him" she said as I nodded. So basically I have to stay away from the popular people and the bad boy even though I have no idea who they are I will try.

"Okay" I said as the bell rung and Monique grabbed my arm and pulled me into the line to get food as we put what we wanted on our trays and walked over to where Monique sits as people began to walk into the cafeteria and we were eating.

"Hey Monique who's the new chick?" A guy asked as he took a seat and smiled at me.

"Hey Dan this is Rose" she replied as I waved and smiled.

"Nice to meet you Rose" he said.

"Nice to meet you to Dan" I said as Monique tapped me on the shoulder.

"See that table over there" she said as I looked where she was pointing to see a bunch of people laughing and talking all dressed like they were going somewhere nice but last time I checked school wasn't a fancy place.

"Yeah what about that table?" I asked as I looked back at her.

"There the populars so you know who they are and you'll know who Nathan is because he always has a big entry" she said as I nodded and continued to eat maybe this bad boy wasn't here today.

I was eating my apple when the whole cafeteria fell silent and I looked to see the doors open and in walked a Greek god. He had brown chocolate hair that was quifted at the front and Hazel eyes. You could tell he was well built by the way his shirt hugged his body and he had a black lip ring which I might add looked hot.

"That's Nathan" Monique whispered in my ear as I looked at her. The sexiest guy I have seen in my whole life had to be the bad boy of the school and a player are you kidding me. I would get it if he was one of the populars but the bad boy this was a whole new level. I had to stay away from this Greek god so I wouldn't get played and hurt which was going to be fun.

"Has he got into your pants?" I asked as she laughed and shook her head.

"Haha no I'm not that desperate or dumb like other girls" she said as I looked over at him again to see him talking with a bunch of other people as I sighed and looked back at my food and finished my drink. I decided today I was just going to stick with Monique and Dan so I didn't accidentally bump or talk to the wrong people.

"So you coming to the party tonight?" Dan asked as I looked up at him and then at Monique who nodded.

"Yeah I guess" I replied as they both smiled.

"Yay I'll text you where my house is and the details but I need your phone to put my number in" she said as I nodded and handed her my phone as she tapped away before handing it back to me and I saw her contact as her name with a smiley face. I put my phone back in my pocket as the bell went and we cleaned up our table before walking off to class. I wonder how this party is going to turn out....
