Beomseok's POV
It's our graduation day. There's some sad and happy moments. As my best friend and I on the swings before going home and busy with our life. We loves each other more than friend but none of us confess.
"Chewy"
"Beomie"
We say at the same. "Just say it first, Chewy" I say. "Ummm.. Will you.. forget me?" she ask. I look at her as she look down. "Chewy.. You know.. I cant forget you.. us" I say. I really want to confess but I'm too scare with what will happen in future. "Good to hear that.. I wont forget you either, Beomie" she say smiling. We spend our last day together before going home. It's the happiest yet saddest day to both of us.
A week later
After a week doing nothing at home, I decided to find part time job. I go to few convenience stores and cafes but there's nothing. Then, I go to arcade for playing some games before going home. I notice the arcade need staffs so I ask for the job. After some questions, I get the job.
A month later
It's been a month since I worked here. There's some my friends from the school but I never seen her, Tzuyu. Working here is fun and also I make new friends, but I'm missing my time with her. During my lunchtime, I decide to text her.
Hey Chewy. How are you doing girl? You good? I got a job at arcade near the market. It's cool to work here. I met some of our school friends. Hmm.. I hope to meet you soon. I got to go now. Have a good day!❤ - Beomie
I continue my day as usual. I even work over time since I've got nothing to do at home. At home after shower, I lay on my bed checking my phone. 'Hmmm.. She's not replying..' I play games for a while before sleep.
Few months later
I'm still working at the arcade while waiting for the college offer letter. Tzuyu.. She's replies my text but a week later. She always reply me once a week. So I decide to call her whenever she text me. We catch up with each other, but still.. Not meeting each other. I miss her.
That day, I go home early as I'm not doing over time. When I'm home, there's letters on tabletop as usual. I ignore it and take a shower. Then, I eat dinner with my family.
"Oh BeomBeom.. There's letter for you earlier." Mom say. "Alright, I'll check it later after dinner." I say and continue eat. After dinner, I check my letter. It's from Konkuk University!!! I'm so nervous! My brother saw me. "Hyung! Open it!" Yejoon say excitedly. I look at him.
"You open and read it for me." I say while pass the letter to him. He take it and open it. He read it. His eyes wide open 😏 "Hyung...." there's pause between his word. "You're in!!!" he shout. We hug each other and shout. Our parent worriedly come to us. I tell them about the letter. We make a family hug.
5 years later (sorry for many skips)
I'll already graduate last year and got job a month later. I work as IT programmer. Since I've done my work perfectly and also over times, I've been promoted fast. Today, my boss call me to his room again. I guess another promotion? I knock his door.
"Come in." he say. "Oh it's you Mr Kang! Sit here" he offer. "Is there anything I can help you, sir?" I ask him. "Are you okay if I transfer you to another company? They need a hard worker like you." he say. "Sure. What's the name of the company?" I ask. "JYP Entertainment. As it's name, it's not a IT company, but they do need a programmer." he say again. "Ohhh.. May I ask? How do they know about me?" I ask in curious. "Ahh about that. I'm the one that suggest you to the company. Well the CEO is my close friend. So, are you accept it?" he ask me. "Yes sir. Thanks for it. Thank you sir." I bow to him.
As I about to leave his room, "Mr Kang, this is your last week here. Come to my office to sign the new contract as the CEO will come here then." he say. "Yes sir. Thanks once again!" I bow to him. During dinner, I tell my family about the great news.
"Hyung! It's that the JYP that I know?" my brother ask me. "Maybe? I'm not sure.." I say. Well I'm not into these things but I do hear the songs. So I know nothing about Kpop things.
Fast forward.. Now, I'm start my work at the new place, JYP Entertainment. I go to my desk after some briefing by the CEO. It's nice to work here, it's not hard and I can finish the job easily and fast.
A while in this company, they give me new assignment. Edit videos and did some translate. Well it's quite challenging cause I'm not into editing but I did well in translate. So its half half. During lunch, I go to cafe for lunch with my colleagues, then I saw someone that I've been missing all these times.
I go to her and taps her shoulder. She turn around "Yes?".. "Chewy?" I ask just to confirm. "Yes I am. And you?" she ask me. Maybe she couldn't recognize me cause my hair is quite brown to blonde and wearing spec. "It's me Kang Beomseok, Beomie." I say feeling sad inside.
She blush as I said my name. She hug me. "Beomie.. I miss you.." she say. "I miss you too, Chewy.." I pat her head. "Where you go? Why you reply me once a week? Are you too busy???" I flood her with questions. "Yah Beomie! Dont you watch TV? Dont you ever heard Twice?" she smack my head. "Auch! Yah.. You know me.. I dont really watch TV.. " I say while protect myself.
"Aishhh!!" then Tzuyu explain why she always text me once a week. She's been training and finally debut as Twice member. That's explain her busyness and sleepiness during our calls.
From that day, we always meet each other at company and my life never been better since then.
It's been a month we've reunited. I decide to propose her to be my girlfriend, or at least let her know my feelings. I take day off during her off day. I take her to my parent's restaurant.. I told them about my plan and decide to close it to give us privacy especially her.
I pick her from her dorm.First, we walk around the park and eat icecream. Then, I bring her to drive thru cinema. After the long day, I bring her to the restaurant. She greet my parent as she saw them.
We eat her favourite dishes and drink. At last, Mom bring us the dessert. As she spoon the dessert, I start to talk.
"Chewy.. We've been best friend since the day that we've met. We have been through everything together, from detention to receive award.." she just hummed to me as she still eat. Well, it's quite big dessert. Cute! "You know.. uhh.. I've been in love with you since then.. I just want to confess my feelings this day, I cant hold it anymore.. I dont want to pressure you.. Take your time.. And also it's okay if the feelings not mutual.." she cut me off. "Shhhh.. There's something in this.." she say as she spoon the 'thing'..
She finally get it. It's a ring that been wrap in a plastic. She take off the plastic and put on the ring. "It's nice, right?" she show the ring to me. I smile weakly. "Chewy.. Are you heard what I said earlier?" I ask her. I'm afraid.
"Well dummy.. I heard you rambling earlier.. What you think about the ring on me?" she say savagely. I just hum and nod. "Hey Beomie.. I love you too" she say as she hold my hand. I look at her. "Really??" I ask. She nods while smiling showing her dimple.
I go to her and hug her.. My family come from the kitchen and congrate us. My family hug us as I still hug her.
"I kinda wait for you to confess.. but it's too long.. Lucky me that I wait" she whisper. "Well.. I'm shy back then.. But now.. I guess we can continue this Love Scenario of us.." I say while kiss her forehead.
