When I was entering the school. Nakita ko namang tarantang-taranta si Ara.
"Huu! I know it!!, di na naman ready ang lahat." I headed out at Binusina ko ng paulit-ulit ang sasakayan ko.
I was sauntering to the hallway. Ara stood up while nodding at me. Signing up of my approval.
" Talk to you later Ara. Akin na yong mic. " mataray na pasalita ko sa kanya then I grabbed the microphone on her hand.
Binigay nya naman agad sa akin ang mic. na walang reklamo habang ako naka ngiti lamang habang tinititigan ang mga freshmen and transferee's sa school.
Ngumiti lamang ako habang nagsasalita kay Ara. " Where's Al?? I need to congratulate him for what he did yesterday. And, I'll talk to you later kasi the program are not really proper and not on the right track, on our right plan!. What was the purpose of having a plan without executing it!." Patuloy parin akung ngumiti habang binunga-ngaan si Ara.
Ngumiti na lamang si Ara at umatras. Mas minabuti nya nalang na pumalikod para iwas na din matalakan ko sya.
The corner of my lips curving up into a smile. I confidently faced the newly witty and beautiful creatures in our school.
"Good Morning everyone, Im the former President of this school Samantha Morales, its my pleasure to have you all in this prestigious school. Thankyou for choosing Haggard University, that even a litte inkling of hope here you choosed to be in this university without a doubt, but before anything else I would like to thank everyone for your presence in this morning and moreover I would like to congratulate the students inside of this studiom that all of you successfully survived the entrance exam and of course the most difficult exam we gave, the R.F.F personality exam, I know that the 70% I think to be exact 78% of the students attempt to enrolled here didn't succeed to pass because of certain qualification standard based that we used but luckily I'm happy that you deserved the YES that I gave and I'm pretty sure that I select the best . Before I end this program Ms. Ara Adrenal will assist you for our orientation today .If you have questions about the rules and regulation of this school just read your handbook, I am certain that all of you have your handbooks but if you haven't yet Ms. Ara Adrenal will answer all your questions, take note don't hesitate to ask her okay? . Let's take a break the orientation will resume 10 oclock of this morning, and without further a do, I'm welcoming you here, feel free and just be what you are hoping that you'll reach your whims because of us . Indeed. "
Doon ko na lamang tinapus ang aking speech. Nang biglang may isang estudyante ang sumigaw.
"Excuse Me po!! Miss president?." Yelling at the back.
A rapid glanced I used to do. I'm smiling because of a genuine confusion on my face. "Don't you hear who am I and what's my name, otherwise you're not listeng Mr."
Lumapit naman agad si Ara sa akin sabay pakita kung anong oras na. "We're running out of time, just don't mind that guy Sam."
"Don't be snobbish Ara, baka mamaya ano pa isipin nya." I murmured it quitely.
I faced the guy that yelling at the back. "Come here Mr."
Lumapit naman agad sa stage yung lalaki. Simple lang ang pananamit nito habang umaakyat sa stage. Wala akung nakikitang may amour ito at may asset man lang, except his brown eyes. Malayo pa lang sya ay kitang kita ko na ang mala kayumanggging kulay ng mga mata nito.
"Why are you yelling at the back? There's something wrong?."
"Yes." Yabang na sagot ng binata.
"And what?." Taas kilay kung tinugon iyon.
"You." He answered shortly.
Napataas ang kilay ko at napangiti. "Okay?? Me.. and what's wrong with me?."
"Why are you choosing only the georgious one? And not the ugly one? Even they are deserving to enroll in this university. Its too confusing ...It makes me wandered."
Humakbang naman agad si Ara para harangan ako pero pinigilan ko sya.
"I know my limitations Ara don't worry I can handle this, kalma lang ako." I smiled shortly and hissed.
"What kind of question is that? So that I'll answer it correctly Mr."
"It is convergent question Miss pres."
Ang talino nito ahhh...
Akala ko pa naman iba sasagutin nya sa akin.
Well, its too obvious na matalino sya.
"So I'll answer it by a covergent statement. Well then, I hate ugly because they are not deserving to be here."
"Then why?."
"You said that, your question is a kind of convergent question so it means you don't need to have a follow up question, am I right.?."
"Yes. But you didn't anwered the question covergently, then I have the right to ask follow up questions, am I right?." He smiled like he wants to insult me.
Tumalikod na lamang ako at sinabihan si Ara na sya nalang bahala sa lalakong iyon. I was eiiiii!!!!! Galit na galit ako sa kanya. Na trap ako sa mga tanung nya. I think sya na ang makakabangga ko dito sa school. Pwes!! Di ako papatalo.
"He-hey. Where are you going Ms.?" Pagpipigil ng lalaki.
I faced him again with a smile, a fake smile actually. "As I announced a while ago, Ms. Ara Adrenal my secretary will answer your questions unless otherwise your busy on minding the speech of others! ." I say it harmonously, para di madistruct ang ibang students.
"I'm about to begin being curious Ms. President, bakit ba ayaw mo ng mga pangit." Sabay tapik ng braso ko. "Uy? may lamok oh." Sabay lapit ng kamay niya sa mukha ko with the flipped mosquito.
I just stay away from him at tumabi kay Ara dahil sa inis. "Kindly announce that we start our orientation now! Not later, not soon but now!". Bulong ko kay Ara.
Napatango na lang siya at kinuha ang microphone sa table. At nagsimulang mag announce sa crowd. Habang nag a'announce si Ara, ito na naman yong binata at kinukulit ako.
Sinusundot sundot niya yong likod ko. Napaharap ako sa kanya at nakita kung nag sign of peace siya at ngumiti pero inirapan ko na lang siya at di pinansin. Sinundot niya ako ulit sa likod. But I never faced him back at pinabayaan na lang siya.
Sa ikatlong beses niyang panunundot sa likod ko ay napalakas ito, halos tumilapon ako pababa ng stage sa lakas non. Naghiyawang ang mga estudyante, yong iba'y nag sipalakpakan pa.
"Sam!" Gulat ni Ara nabitawan niya ang microphone kaya nahulog ito. Agad niya akong nilapitan at tinulongang tumayo.
Pucha. Ganda niya ipalibing sa drinage! Nagasgasan tuloy tuhod ko! Eiii! Di ko maexplain ang galit ko para akong sasabog sa galit.
I stood up straight at lumingon mula sa likod. Pero tawang tawa lang yong binatang pantasma! Papilay pilay akong naglakad papuntang back stage. Nagpaiwan na lang si Ara para e'assist yong oreintation. Napapaaray ako habang naglalakad patungon sa R.F.F. Nagngingitngit ako sa galit sa lalaking iyon. Di ko 'to makakalimutan lalong lalo na siya.!
Nang makaabot na ako sa R.F.F ay agad ko namang kinuha ang medicine kit sa closet. At kumuha ng betadine para hindi masakit kung ilalapat ko na sa sugat ssa tuhod ko. Kumuha ako ng cotton at pinatuloan ng betadine at inilapat sa sugat ko.
"Aw! Aw aw!" Sigaw ko ng paulit ulit.
Parang aso lang diba.
Kumuha ako ng band aid at inilapat sa gasgas ko sa tuhod.
Puchang piniretong palaka!
Humanda ka talaga sa akin lalong lalo na iisa lang tayo ng school.
Ngipin sa ngipin!

Second day of our orientation.
At walang takot pa ding nagpakita yong mukong at pakaway kaway pa sa akin mula sa kinatatayoan nito.
