Writers Note:  I wanted to explore the potential that Mizuki has/could have had.  I truly think with how he is, and what skills and objects he possesses, he could have been very frightening.  Just behind his happy outer demeanour, I truly believe that he had the potential to be much darker.

Trigger warning:  Violence, blood, snakes, snake bites, death.

A punk on the street thought he would face no punishment after handling Nanami very roughly in the street the night before. Such filthy hands upon her flesh made the snake almost vibrate with anger. For someone to rob her of her smile and scare her to that degree. . . death would be a kindness.

While Tomoe took care of Nanami, Mizuki had other arrangements. How unlucky for that individual, that the snake got sent in the fox's place~.

A little research was conducted, and then Mizuki had all he needed. The thug took the same trail home everyday, he knew where he lived, he knew his past, his struggles and internal torment. None of that would matter however, because he didn't care about him.

In a tree, the white snake would lurk in a tree, emerald green hues piercing through the darkness as he watched the man walk though his dimly lit, isolated trail. He could see him look over his shoulder, feeling eyes upon him, like a rabbit to be devoured.

Instinct would urge the man to go quicker, so he picked up the pace. Little did he know, Mizuki used the street light as an anchor, and created a fake world, for just the two of them~. The outer world would be unaffected, and no matter how long he walked, he would always pass by this street light.

Mizuki's lips would twist into a grin as he heard the man's frustrations and confusion, he was beginning to panic and go faster. What was wrong? His heart began to beat harder, faster, cool sweat beginning to drip down down his temple. He'd check his phone, but there was no signal, panic was beginning to set in.

Descending the tree, Mizuki would watch him from the shadows behind the tree line, for this wasn't enough. He wasn't scared enough. Cold eyes would watch him as he extended a hand towards him, summoning white serpents of various sizes. The snakes would hiss and slither from the forest, through the damp and cool grass, while others coiled around tree branches in efforts to reach the man from higher ground.

"Yo! What--, What they fuck!" He took quicker steps back, trying to shoo away the snakes with his feet. They'd hiss and strike at him, one of them catching his calf, piercing his flesh, crimson blossoming on his jeans. He'd yelp and back up faster, when a snake fell on his shoulder, causing him to quickly whack it off.

He'd begin to turn and hurry through the trails, swearing and yelling in frustration. Occasionally he'd get too tired and slow, another serpent piercing his flesh as hisses came in all directions.

Eventually he'd begin to run as fast as he could, falling a couple of times. Eventually he'd begin to scream in horror, falling again onto the ground, beginning to crawl backwards and freaking out as snakes began to nip at his feet and more would fall from the trees onto, and around him.

Mizuki waited. . . watching as his screams became those of a truly terrified and scared person, he was all peppered in crimson~. He'd step out from the tree line, coming out behind him. He'd look concerned down at the man, offering a hand to him. "Oh no, sir! Here, take my hand!"

The man would take his hand, but he looked. . . confused. His hair was white, and eyes shown emerald green, but they were no longer displaying concern. . . Mizuki's lips would curl into a smile, as he'd hold his hand a little tighter.

Mizuki would look up at the man, using both of his hands to hold the mans, in the distance, perhaps it would have been mistaken for affection or concern. "Your dirty hands touched my master~, isn't that right, hn--? The fox was busy however. . . you're very unlucky. He would have ripped you apart and set you ablaze. . . No. . . I won't do that to you, that's a little too quick, I like to hunt my prey, for a little while longer~."

The man would pull his hand and smack Mizuki's hands away before shoving him, "I don't know what you're talking about! You're fucking crazy!" He would say, beginning to run through the trail again. He'd look back at Mizuki as he ran, those green eyes slowing disappearing in the darkness, yet. . . eerie laughter couldn't help but erupt from his lips. How funny it was, to think he could escape!

He kept running, eventually the snakes stopped, and he stopped to walk slowly backwards. . . was it over?

A sharp pain would be felt in his shoulder as a snake struck from behind, and Mizuki came into sight again, using a foot to swiftly trip him. The man's feet were beginning to get weighed down from the amount of snakes that were slithering on top of him, beginning to coil and tighten around his limbs, cutting off circulation.

Mizuki would look coldly down to him, eventually sitting on top of the exhausted and frightened mans chest. A slender and pale hand would softly cup his cheek as he spoke, the thugs eyes unable to leave those piercing emerald snake eyes of his.

As the gaze continued, it was as if everything began to darken, leaving only those eyes, and the sound of his own heart beating. "You made her upset. . . and you see. . . I care about her more then anyone else in this entire world~. The smile from my god would melt frozen oceans, she saved me, you see. . . I was alone. . . just like you. When you were homeless as a child, living on the streets, without a place to call your own, before your cousins took you in~."

His eyes would widen and his brown eyes would flicker with shock, his felt. . . paralyzed. How did he know that?? He began to felt numb, was he scared? Was it the snakes that slowly coiled and tightened around his entire body?

"You don't know how long I was alone. . . perhaps you could relate, but you don't know what it feels like. . . to truly feel despair. But I'm here for you, I will give you this last kindness before I show you what that truly means."

He'd caress his cheek, and the man would watch with horror as a large white snake began to slither down Mizuki's arm towards his face. He tried to struggle, but the grip was far too tight.

"I will be anything she needs. . . anything. ᴇᴠᴇɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴀᴅ ɢᴜʏ."  Mizuki's lips twisted into a sadistic grin at fear in the mans eyes. There it was. . . feel fear. Tearing him apart was just too quick.

"For such a filthy man to touch my god, is unacceptable. . . This is your divine punishment." His grin would fall, emerald grin eyes peering coldly down at him as the mans eyes flickered in panic. The snake on Mizuki's arm would strike at his neck, hard and violent. Crimson would fly and odd splatters would decorate his pale flesh. As the man screamed and struggled in pain and terror, Mizuki's gaze wouldn't falter, nor would it shift. He'd watch as the snake began to coil around his neck to restrict airflow.

Slowly the mans screamed stopped, he's begin to turn colour, despite being already decorated in crimson. Eventually. . . his heart beat ceased. Mizuki would retrieve his hand, touch the blood on his face and look at this fingers. "Guess I will have to get cleaned up before I head to the shrine." He'd stand up and slowly, the snakes would return to the forest, vanishing.

The bubble he made had vanished, and the world was left with a strangled and bitten corpse on the path of a dimly lit park. Mizuki would walk calmly down the path, and when he got far enough, he heard a woman scream. Ah, someone found him~.

Pale lips would twist into a malicious, dark grin, then he vanished into the shadows.
