7)Anxiety.

~Y/n's POV~

I woke up in the most familiar place ever. The medjack. I looked around. My vision adjusted. I jumped up slightly sitting up as the people around me backed away. "What-I-" I looked around. "Hey y/n you remember what happened?" Jeff asked me siting next to me holding my head steady. "Uh I was sitting near the wall, I buried my head between my knees but my breathing increased I felt my heartbeat increased. I went to stand up to get Newt but my vision went blurry and then I heard I think Gally scream." I replayed the memory in my head, I remembered why I was in this position as well.

"Very good y/n. Well it looks like she doesn't have a concussion or anything like that she just had an anxiety attack." I heard him speaking to the people around me. "Do you remember what caused the attack?" Jeff turned back to me with a concerned look. "I-uh-no." I lied. I shouldn't have but I knew he knew I was lying. He paused. After he got the hint he played along "Alright. Well if it comes back to you let me know." I nodded. "Yeah yeah of course. Am I good to go?" I asked. "Yeah you're good." I got up Thomas at my side helping me stand making sure I don't fall.

I looked around for the one person I wanted. "W-where's-" my voiced cracked. "Uh- N-Newt?" Gally looked away visibly gulping. I shoved Thomas off of me and ran out of the medjack. My eyes scanned around everywhere for Newt, I heard footsteps fall behind me. I saw by the bonfire with this greenies arm wrapped around him. My boiled blood is up to temperature. I knew they'd try to grab ahold of me but this time while I started walking over to them, they stood closely behind me. My heart felt like it shattered to just look at them. "So what's going on here?" I startled her. I saw her jump slightly.

"Oh good another girl." She laughed in relief. My mind wandered. Another girl? He didn't- I swear- "yeah ha. I'm y/n." I looked to Minho as he sat down. My heart felt like it was getting wrenched. "I'm Teresa. Newt here has been helping me around the place." "Oh has he?" I smiled nodding. "Yeah he's really sweet, and cute." She blushed. I looked at Newt. "I was in the medjack and where were you?" My voice broke. "Y/n-" I heard his voice but I walked away. "HE WAS THERE Y/N!" Thomas yelled out. "WE HAD TO HOLD HIM BACK AND DRAG HIM OUT OF THERE SO THEY COULD DO THEIR JOBS!" I turned.

"I love you." I heard him. Whether anyone else did or didn't I heard him. Teresa look pissed because of the scene she just watched unfold. I couldn't careless at this very moment. I ran up to Newt wrapping my legs around his waist. "I love you too." I felt the tears stream down my face. Placing me back on my feet the fire illuminated his blonde curls just like it did that one night. I smiled. "Princesses don't cry love." He whispered whipping my tears leading me to sit between his legs. "Figures." Teresa scoffed.

      "Well it doesn't matter because Newt's here during the day and your running. You're nothing but a runner." I watched as Minho twitched. "Literary you're probably fucking Minho in the maze." Gally looked up with venomous eyes. "It's okay I'll just fuck Newt in the glades while you're gone." Thats when everything snapped. "Y/n! Don't!" Minho and Gally yelled in unison while Newts grip became tight on my waist. "ALRIGHT MOTHERFUCKER YOU GOT MY ATTENTION!" I tried to get out of Newt's grip.

       "Baby if you keep trying to get off of me to punch her you're just going to get punished. I love you and only you. Minho's your best friend. I don't believe her. I would never cheat on you." Newt voiced out making sure everyone heard him. That was the moment I made a decision due to jealousy and I could never go back. "It doesn't matter whether she thinks she's going to fuck you while I'm gone because you're a runner now." I smirked looking at her while everyone around us gasped. Newt's face whipped to mine almost instantly. "You really mean this love?" I felt his hands go to my inner thigh rubbing up and down.

       "You can handle it. You won't run without me you understand?" I asked taking control. I saw his pupils blown as lust took over both of us. "Did you just-" his hand gripped my neck squeezing slightly. "I'm in command. Not you." My head turned back to everyone else while Newts hands stayed in place on my throat and inner thigh. "Hey I love your shirt." I heard Teresa say to Minho. "Thank you." Walking away with Gally Minho replied.

      "Newtieee" I whined as I cuddled into him. "Yes love?" He replied rubbing my thigh again while putting a little pressure on my neck. "Can we go to bed? We have to run tomorrow." His hand slipped higher and higher. "Anything for you bubs." With that being said I felt myself lift off of the ground by Newt. "Aansnan" I mumbled something incoherently into him as I started to fall asleep in his arms.

       ~Newt's POV~

       I'm a runner now? No one wants to be a runner. I sighed laying y/n down on her bed slipping in next to her. I have to protect her. If she were gone I don't know what I would do with myself. I love her. "I love you." I whispered in her ear kissing her earlobe hoping she heard me even slightly. I laid awake just stroking her hair admiring her every curve. I slowly started to fall asleep. Until I heard the worst thing I've ever heard since I've been here. Her screams. Her screams echoed around as she started to flop around on the bed. Every burst in trying to hold her down. Y/n's eyes were closed as she continued to scream while they held her down. "NEWT PLEASE! PLEASE NO. YOU CANT LEAVE ME! PLEASE WAKE UP!" My eyes filled with tears as I ran out of the hut puking outside.
