Chapter 1 - A New Start

Nandini's POV

6 years later.....

PSV company, London.

"Nandini, I still can't believe that we actually won this contest. I am so happy today, RWS company was the  most famous in talent hunting and it still feels like blur when judge announced the winner" Betty Jumped throwing her arms in the air.

I smiled looking at her. I bet she can't control her excitement anymore. All the way along till the announcement of winner she was more nervous than those contestants participating in the contest.

"Girl, I can never doubt your skill in choosing. You never failed to prove it"

And then all my smiled suddenly shattered. My face become blank. Never failed? Is that even correct to say that? Why? Because I failed big time, 6 years ago. The failing that I am still suffering from.

"Nandini" Betty shook my shoulder breaking my thought.

"What?" I shook my head.

"You look puzzled, here I am dying with excitement and you are zoning out?" She frowned.

I smiled "I am sorry, I was thinking something. Besides I just did the best I can. There's nothing for you to praise like that. It's my duty that I have to complete anyway'

"If you say so" she smiled. Just then a girl announced us to join the conference room.

"Looks like Boss is already up for a meeting" Betty smiled.

"He must be happy because he finally defeat RWS" I said and she chuckled.

"True though, I really can't forget the way two bosses argue with eachother" she laughed.

I shook my head. PSV and RWS are the enemy forever companies. Boss bears a huge  grudges against the CEO of RWS. And finally after years of struggle, the Greatest Musical Show ended. I have worked so hard to find the perfect candidate to defeat RWS.

In the conference room...

"Today as you all know that after the announcement our PSV become the no.1 company. And this time it MC ranked us 1 for this show. Finally after so many years of hard struggle we are here, where we should be. So today I have arranged this meeting to congratulate all of you for staying with me and supporting me to lead this company in perfect position" Mr. Arvind, i.e. Boss said happily "thanks to you all for working with me and becoming the no.1 in MC industry" he raised a glass of wine in cheer.

We all raised our glasses "to the boss and to the company" then we celebrated followed by congratulating each other.

"Nandini, thank you for choosing those remarkable talents as our team. I can't help but feel so grateful for appointing you in this task" Boss said before nodding at me.

"It's my duty boss please don't thank me like that. As a manager I have to do thing that needed for the company" I smiled.

"I really do expect such words from you. If you were other girl, they will be expecting for bonus and promotions" he said jokingly.

I laughed at his words " come on boss, my salary is already enough to feed me whatever I need. I can't ask for more"

He laughed with me "what a remarkable woman, you always know how to please others with your words"

"Working with you already taught me a lot" I teased.

He laughed again. Mr. Arvind is not old aged man. But quite opposit. He is handsome, hot and cold blooded man but he is really polite and even kind. He never disrespect his stuffs nor ever blames if something bad happens in company. He is like a brother to me. After moving in London, he was the first one I found as dependable person. I started working here since then and he also treated me as family too.
