the court of wind and nightmares

chapter 4

"what do you mean?" I said

"I mean, I remember the world falling apart" she says

"but what about earlier when you said-"

"I know. all of my memories just came back" she interrupted "i'm sorry I didn't believe you, but lets go to sleep now. its getting late"

"so how was your sleep?" my mom asked while serving me and Maddie breakfast "did you have anymore nightmares blair?"

"it was good" Maddie said "what about you blair?"

"actually" I said looking at my mom and Maddie to see their concerned faces "I did have another nightmare"

last night I had another nightmare. it sounds like it was just a coincidence until you hear what happened next.

"what was it about?" asked my mom

"it was about-"

I was interrupted by howling wolves. really loud wolves.

"AGAIN!!!!" I screamed

everyone in my house, and even my neighbors were concerned.

"whats wrong?" Maddie and my mom said at the same time. there was something wrong with their voices.

I looked over to them watching them grow claws and sharp teeth. I ran outside, only to see that everyone but me had turned into wolves. if you haven't already guessed, this was what my nightmare was about.

I started running to find someone that wasn't a wolf and to find safety. I found a cave and decided to wait for the wake up but their wasn't one. that's only what I thought.

I was so excited to finally hear my moms voice when she woke me and maddie up. but this time I wasn't where I was before, I was in my bed waking up to my mom standing at the door and listening to the birds chirping. I was confused but happy to start the day again. luckily, the wolves didn't come back.
