I rushed over to Maddie and found her staring at a beautifully decorated box. it had a stunning pattern coloured with dark green and lined with shiny gold, and it had foreign writing on top of it. like, really foreign.
I was surprised but not frightened.
I was wondering why Maddie had screamed until she screeched,
"it says back off written in blood-red!! I think we should get out of here."
"but-" I replied
"let's go" she said in return.
I was so surprised that she saw something different on the box, and I was tempted to open the box, but I ran after her because I knew I couldn't trust it.

"I felt so cold, and I think I got goosebumps when we were at the box," I said while we were eating "and the box was dark green and the writing was in gold, but it was written in another language"
"ya. right." Maddie said laughing.
she didn't believe me, but I knew that it was true. I saw it with my very own eyes. I wanted to prove myself to her, but I don't know if it's worth it. I don't know what is in there.
Maddie slept over that night. she woke me up in the middle of the night.
"wake up! wake up!" Maddie yells "are you ok? you were screaming as if the world was falling apart!"
"How did you know?" I said, "how did you know that the world was falling apart?"
