"ow!" I screamed as my brother pushed me to the ground. my best friend, Madeline, or Maddie as I like to call her, came rushing to my side with a teacher following her.
"What happened?" asked the teacher as Maddie helped me up.
"he pushed her!" Maddie yelled.
" thank you but I was asking Blair." the teacher said disappointed.
my brother gave me a terrifying look saying " say one word to mom and you're dead." quietly so the teacher wouldn't hear.
the teacher, ms. burtes asked me if I needed ice, no surprise it's as if teachers believe that ice can fix everything.
"I'm fine," I said while walking away with Maddie spectating me like I was about to die or something.
my brother has pushed my buttons one too many times, this is the last straw. I'm going to prove to him that I can be strong and tough too.
once i told maddie my plan, she freaked out. its not like going to the abandoned court by my house was gonna get me killed.
while we were walking to the abandoned court maddie was explaining to me how it was super dangerous to go to the court but i didn't really listen. i got a little bit scared but i wasn't backing down. It would have given my brother another reason to make fun of me.
"fine. you dont have to come with me. im going nomatter what." i said, while entering the court ruins.
"im just trying to keep you safe" maddie said, running to catch up.
me and Maddie entered the abandoned building. there were so many cobwebs I couldn't even count them.
as we entered the room in the middle of the building I started to feel weird, almost as if a big gust of cold wind hit me. "but how would there be wind inside?" I thought.
I started to feel dizzy, and I felt like I was gonna faint when Maddie yells "OMG!!!!!" in a scared tone "I FOUND SOMETHING" she yells as i'm hurrying over to her.
