LONGER DESCRIPTION
Shin Soyun, a kind and calm yet slightly ambiguous agent's resolve had always been to arrest Kang Haneul, the real culprit behind the bombing that killed her parents who were investigating his tracks, while the harrowing guilt of letting a faultless prosecutor be executed when her younger self was shunned in Seoul's Central District Court tagged along. Now an official NIS agent for months under her public identity as a double-majoring twenty years old college student at SNU, she still couldn't get the court and headquarters to reopen the case with her words. One day, her educational museum trip was spoiled by a bomb threat, leading her to discover that her enigmatic classmate named Jeon Jungkook was a vigilante.
Jeon Jungkook was a member of Hope, a group of Vigilantes with a sunflower as their trademark and hints of ingrained hard feelings against the NIS. Playful, casual yet discreet, he was a mystery along with his hyungs Jung Hoseok and Min Yoongi. Their group has clashed with Haneul and been going around over the years, so Soyun might plan to reach out to them for information when her sit-in head director Kim Namjoon was adamant to forbid her from the NIS's task force. Kim Seokjin, her colleague and Namjoon's friend would just play along. In between, she encountered Kim Taehyung who returned to Seoul while on a small raid. An old friend who was now the don of his Italian-Korean Mafia family, the Corvino Family albeit he used to say that he'd never take his father's place. Park Jimin, his underboss and best friend on the other hand seem to be able to tell the guy's real feelings.
NIS agents, vigilantes and Mafiosi. Maybe white, grey and black as colours. As familiar-patterned incidents were taking place again, they knew it was Haneul, and all sides weren't really sure if encounters or secret assistances would be the way to figure out something. At the same time, Soyun finds herself growing curious of Jungkook who was the most casual yet just as resolved.
