Mizuki's P.O.V
"You can do better than that! Get up and do it again!" My father commanded after kicking me down to the ground. We were practicing my blocking and taijutsu.
"I can't," My four-year-old self said on the ground panting.
"Yes, you can! Now get up and do It again this time block on time!" He shouted advancing closer to me.
"Father I can't!" I cried as I looked up from the ground into his disappointed orange lizard eyes.
"I thought you were better than this, but I guess I was wrong your nothing like your older siblings," he sighed.
He stepped closer and closer to me until he was kneeling in front of me. Reaching his hand on the move some of my silky blue hair out of my face and behind my ear.
"Your hair has gotten long," he commented as his face looked a little less disappointed.
"I know," I replied not making eye contact with him.
"Anyway, that's enough training for today. We train again tomorrow morning after breakfast," He said standing up and turning away from me.
"Where are you going father?" I asked trying to stand up but fell back down from exhaustion.
"To the Tokage's temple to deal with something," he said walking in the direction of the forest where the temple is located.
"Father, can I come to the temple with you?" I asked hoping he would say yes.
"No, you must focus on your studies if you want to enter the Ninja Academy next year when your five."
"I understand, father do you think I will become a great ninja one day?" I asked as I looked up at him with my big innocent green eyes lizard eyes gazed into his orange lizard eyes.
"If want to be a great ninja you have to hard as your siblings did in the academy."
"Yes father," I said bowing my head in respect just like he taught me. I would do anything to prove my worth as one of the children of the clan head.
"Good," Father said.
I sighed as he walked off in the direction of the temple where the clan meetings are held and the location where we keep the important clan items.
"Hey little sister," I heard a familiar voice asked.
I looked up to see my older brother Kaori standing above me blocking the sun from shining in my eyes. He was wearing a red shirt with a dark blue jacket that had the clan symbol on it. Along with black pants, black ninja shoes, and finally a blue ninja headband that match his hair on his forehead.
"Hey, Kaori, " I said. Where Keiko?" I asked realizing that I didn't see her today at breakfast.
"She on a training with her team," Kaori replied. "I believe her team our entering the jounin exams this year."
"Cool so if she passes she be a jounin at age 15," I said impressed with Keiko's skill. Yet feeling an little depressed remembering father's word.
"Hey, little sister what wrong?" Kaori asked noticing my expression.
"Big brother, does father hate me?" I asked wondering why my father was always so rude to me during training.
"What are you talking about father loves you probably even more than me and Keiko," he said with an eyebrow raised. "Why on earth would you think something like that?" He asked.
"It's just he always yelling at me during training. He never yelled at you or Keiko. So he must hate me," I said in a sad tone.
"Father doesn't hate you Mizuki," Kaori said. "It's just that father is the head of the clan. Which makes it his job to keep the clan safe to do that he make sure members are strong enough to protect the clan. Plus being one of the noble clans it expected If us to be strong." He explained.
"So father doesn't hate me?"
"Of course not he loves and cares for you deeply he just wants you to be strong so you be safe. If you don't believe me just ask mom she tell you the same thing," He said smiling at me.
"Do you think I will be able to become a great ninja one day and make father proud of me?" I asked looking up into Kaori's orange eyes with a hopeful look in my green eyes.
"If you keep working hard and do great in the ninja academy when you join next year. You will become a great ninja maybe one even better than me and Keiko," Kaori said ruffling my hair.
I smile at Kaori happy to hear at least my big brother believe in me.
"Now how about go grab something to eat while father taking care of clan business, and while nom working at the hospital," Kaori said.
"Sounds great!" I cheered happily. I enjoyed spending time with my older brother.

A/N: In real life I have and two older twin brothers, an older sister, and a little brother. My parents were always proud of my siblings for getting good grades and going to college early, but disappointed in me for getting C's and not getting in college early like my older siblings. That change when I finally told them I felt like they hated me. It was mostly my father though who was hard on me.
Here and question for you.
