Hiding behind a mask and pretending to be someone I'm not.

She tells me I know you,
the real you and we're friends.

Then how come you weren't here for me in my darkest times?
How come you left me to fight alone?

If you really were my friend,
I shouldn't have to feel abandoned.

If you really were my friend,
I shouldn't have to worry about you betraying me.

But it all happened,
which meant that in the end, all of it was fake.

And again, my heart was the one to pay for the mistakes.
