"No! No, I need Mom!" Katsuki cursed in his head. Time for last resorts.

Katsuki wrapped his arms around Izuku, pulling the boy into his arms. "You're okay." Katsuki said, holding Izuku tightly. Izuku sobbed and burrowed his face into Katsuki's chest, his hands still trying to cover the awful noise. Bakugou put his own hands over Izuku's ears, looking over his shoulder. "Hey! It would be appreciated if you worked just a tad bit faster!" He yelled at the three, who were still trying to turn off the screaming noise.

"Working on that!" Kaminari yelled back, using his quirk to try and zap the zero pointer into silence.

"Well work harder!" Katsuki yelled. He turned back to Izuku, shaking and crying. "Hey, hey. Look at me." Izuku shakily looked up at Katsuki, his eyes filled with absolute fear. "Who am I?" Izuku looked at him like he was crazy.

"K- Kaccha-an. You're Kacchan." Katsuki nodded.

"That's right. And what color are my eyes?" Izuku focused on Katsuki's eyes, searching for the right words.

"Vermillion." He replied, the answer unexpected. Katsuki had expected him to simply say red.

But he nodded all the same. "And my hair?"

"Sand." Izuku answered immediately. "Pale sand." Katsuki nodded, not letting Izuku look at anything else.

"What color is your hair?"

"G- green." Izuku said, his breath slowly going down in pace until it was simply a hitching, shuddering sound. "A- and black." He nearly whispered.

"And your eyes?" Katsuki kept questioning, silently thanking the universe as the siren slowly quieted down until they were enveloped in an almost alien silence.

"Green," Izuku said.

"And what else is green?" Katsuki said, looking for something to calm the boy down completely.

"Grass?" Izuku said after a moment of silence, his eyes uncertain, although the tears slowly dried up.

Katsuki nodded. "And what's good about grass?" He asked.

"F- flowers?" Izuku said, making Katsuki laugh.

"Yeah! Yeah, flowers. Fucking flowers." Katsuki took in a deep breath. "Now, where are you?" Izuku looked around, his hand shaking a bit still, although it seemed to be more from an unsteadiness than panic.

"Ground.... Beta?" He questioned, earning a nod.

"And where's," Katsuki took a breath and hoped for the best. "Where's your mom?" Izuku eyes blew wide open as he began to look around frantically. Katsuki grabbed his shoulders, forcing Izuku to look at him. "Safe, nerd. She's at a hospital, and she is safe. Just like you are."

Izuku's breathing hitched as a fresh onslaught of tears blew in. He buried his face into Katsuki's chest and hugged the older boy tightly, sobbing quietly. Katsuki sighed heavily and wrapped his arms around Izuku in return.

Yaoyorozu and Jirou came up, Kaminari coming up behind them, half out of it. They all looked crazy tired. "Is- is he alright?" Yaoyorozu asked hesitantly. Katsuki looked down at the shuddering form that had him in a death grip.
