|3| A Cacophony of Silent Noise

Even Kaminari reacted, although his complaints came in the form of unintelligible noises. Katsuki cursed under his breath.

"Are you fucking serious? The damn thing is malfunctioning?" He sighed, looking at his incapacitated classmates. "Come on Deku, let's go blow it up again." He started toward the zero pointer, but stopped when Izuku didn't follow. "Oi, Deku. Let's go."

He turned to see Izuku standing in the same spot, not a single muscle moving. Katsuki walked back over, wincing as the wailing siren noise invaded his senses. "Deku! Come on!" Izuku shook in his spot, his eyes blown wide open with..... was that fear?

Katsuki ran over to his childhood friend, shaking him. "Deku! Deku, what the fuck?" Izuku's breathing only picked up, his entire body shaking like crazy. Yaoyorozu took notice of the situation, while Jirou couldn't hear any of it thanks to the noise cancelling headphones. Kaminari, even in his short circuited state, had covered his ears.

Katsuki shook Izuku again. "Deku!" Izuku was shaking like crazy at this point, and he looked almost paralyzed.

"Midoriya?" Yaoyorozu questioned, her ears covered in a vain attempt to block out the wailing siren. Izuku slowly brought up his shaking hands to his ears, his head shaking back and forth.

"N- no, no, no..." he muttered, his breathing too fast to be normal or even from exertion. "N- no, Mom, no-"

Katsuki immediately grabbed Izuku's shoulders, attempting to get his attention. Izuku didn't even look like he could see him, his eyes unfocused. "Deku! Deku, look at me." Izuku shook his head, turning his gaze toward the ground as he clasped his hands over his ears.

"I want to go with Mom... I want to go with M- Mom-" Izuku choked, his eyes beginning to stream out tears. Katsuki cursed and grabbed Izuku, forcing his head up.

"Deku. You look at me." Izuku choked, his eyes still unfocused. "Oh for fucks sake- Izuku!" Izuku's head snapped up, his eyes focusing on Katsuki. His breathing didn't slow down though. "Hey. Hey, you're okay. You're okay."

Izuku shook his head, beginning to look around wildly, still shaking. "No! No, I need Mom! Where's Mom!?" Izuku cried, trying to tug away. "I need to go with Mom!"

Katsuki cursed. He could barely get Izuku to look at him with that damn siren, and it was only making everything worse. "Ponytail! Turn off that damn siren! I'm going to try and calm him down. And for fucks sake, someone wake up Dunce Face!" Yaoyorozu nodded and tapped Jirou, silently asking if the hearing hero was alright to help. Jirou nodded and stood up, the headphones blocking out most of the noise.

Yaoyorozu ran over to Denki, shaking him. They had discovered that the best way to wake the electric boy up was to basically reboot him. Turn it off, and turn it back on. Jirou tossed her a water bottle, and after a muttered apology, Yaoyorozu poured all the contents over on Denki.

Kaminari shook, his eyes refocusing with a start as he spluttered. "Ack! What the FUCK is that noise!?"

"Siren, malfunctioning robot, Midoriya is having a panic attack. Let's go!" Yaoyorozu said, tugging Kaminari up and towards the source of the screaming.

Katsuki watched it all go down, and when he was certain he wouldn't have to worry about any of it, he turned back to Izuku, who was still looking around in panic. "Hey, look at me. It's okay, you're safe." Izuku shook his head, starting to cry harder."
