Izuku breathed out as he walked along the sidewalk, nearing his school. Izuku looked up at the tall glass building, towering over the streets. He sighed and walked through the gates, up the pathway to the doors.

Izuku walked up the flights of stairs to the large door that led into class 1-A, his nerves racking. He knew that his mom had somehow gotten onto the news, probably the media barraging the officers at the apartment and the neighbors. Izuku doubted his name had been told, but his mother's certainly had been. Midoriya wasn't exactly a common name, and Katsuki knew his mom.

Izuku clutched the straps of his yellow book bag and took in a sharp breath, thinking back to the night before. If anything went south, he could always hide out in the bathroom and call his new brother figure. After all, it was no secret that Ryuko apparently skipped math, his first period. And most of his other classes, to be honest. Ryuko was the type to ace every test and never turn in a single sheet of homework.

With that sliver of reassurance in mind, Izuku released a breath and opened the door, walking inside and making a beeline for his desk. He tried to ignore how nearly everyone turned to look at him as soon as he entered, but that didn't really work as multiple people got up to rush to his desk.

Izuku groaned as most of the class began barraging him with worried questions, his nerves racking more than usual. Uraraka was the first to successfully speak over the others, shushing them all.

"Deku-kun! Are you alright? We saw the news yesterday!" She asked, her eyes filled with worry. Izuku racked his brain for an answer, while Iida chopped his arms up and down.

"We were extremely worried when you didn't answer our texts! You don't seem yourself, Midoriya." Izuku felt awkward under all the gazes of his classmates, wanting nothing more than to sink into the ground and disappear. Izuku suddenly stood up, holding up his hands.

"Look, I really appreciate all the concern," Izuku began sarcastically, much to the surprise of most of his classmates and the half amusement of Katsuki, who was sat right in front of Izuku's desk, "But I'd really not talk about my mother's suicide attempt. Ya know, all that fun stuff." Izuku grabbed his bag and shoved his way to the door, exiting the classroom even as a few people called out to him.

Izuku made a beeline for the bathroom, repeating the almighty mantra of Ryuko Horikage in his head.

Abort. Fucking. Mission.

Aaaahhh. I should've been writing Star Light, but I had motivation for this. Must be the 'I made a new book' effect.

That was fun, wasn't it? I thought it was. Turns out you can get a lot done when you're in a car for four hours switching between two different states.

So we have child abuse and gross food. Fun, isn't it? I liked the sass part with Izuku. I came up with it in the shower.

Ryuko is back! I thought I'd keep at least one OC from the original. And Ryuko was the perfect fit for the big brother role. Don't worry though, another of the four will come back to haunt us in later chapters. Wonder which girl it's gonna be??? Guess.

My butt hurts. I've been in a car for hours. My butt fucking HURTS

Y'all better comment on this shit. It's no 5000 words, but I don't really want to add another entire scene to stretch this out. So deal with what you've got.

By the way, welcome back, XxFantasy_LandxX. You kind of went off the grid for a while, so I hope that whatever happened is all straightened out now.

So, y'all know Ryuko. Let's see if any of you remember his quirk. It'll be explained in the next chapter though. Probably. And again, because I want people to read the shit I'm writing without any real motivation, please read Most Girls or Star Light. Or even the damn one-shot. I honestly just want comments.

But anyways, since I no longer have anything to rant about, here are your spoilers!
