Harvey doesn't really attend college anymore. Sure, he goes to his lectures as regularly as he can as a burnt-out law school student. But he isn't really getting the full experience anymore. He doesn't go to parties for one, not that he went to many in the first place, but still. And it's not because Jefferson won't let him, in fact, the taller man encourages him to come out of his shell as much as he can. But parties just feel redundant when you're as introverted as Harvey can be sometimes.

He still sees his friends as much as he can. Even though Chris and Luke are so sickeningly sweet together that it makes Harvey want to hurl, especially when Jeff isn't there to help him show them up. And boy does Jeff love to show them up.

Chris tries to get him out pretty often but going out just means there's a bigger risk of being spotted by one of Jefferson's fangirls (and boys), or worse, one of his own.

Since starting his relationship, Harvey's Instagram follower count has shot up from a modest 500 to almost one million, and it's growing every day.

He's grateful for the support - his mother always told him not to look a gift horse in the mouth, after all. But he is always hyperaware of the fact that fame is a double-edged sword; one wrong move, and he'll be cut to pieces.

So, Harvey does his best to remain unseen, inconspicuous. Whenever he posts it's innocent. A picture of his coffee, or Jeff, or if he's feeling adventurous, a casual selfie. His captions are always boring, and literally just describe the post. No hidden meanings, no opinions. Just... fluff.

People have said that he should use his new-found influence, and legion of adoring fans, to do some good. Share some positive information. And perhaps he would if the situation called for it. But he didn't ask to be famous. All he did was fall in love. So, right now, Harvey is trying his best to live his life the way he did before... Well, the best he can with over 900,000 followers.

Harvey shakes himself out of his thoughts as he makes his way into the building for his first class of the day. Adjusting the laptop bag on his shoulder, he pushes the open the heavy door to the lecture theatre.

As expected, there were the customary intrigued glances from interested parties. It's nothing too intrusive since, by now, it's a little less surprising that the boyfriend of mega star Jefferson Blake is in this class.

He makes his way through the seats and sits down in a row near the middle of the theatre. Fishing his brand-new laptop (thank you Jefferson) out of his bag, he places it on the desk, then takes out his phone to pass the time before his class starts.

As has become the norm, the first thing he sees on his feed is that Jefferson has posted a story.

With a fond smile, he clicks it open, and is immediately met with his boyfriend's photogenic face.

Every day, Harvey is reminded of just what an absolute dork Jefferson is, and today is no different. The first post is a video of himself in a car. He's mouthing the words to some obnoxious song on the radio as the camera pans to his best friend and PA, Maya, who's giving him her classic exasperated look.

He looks so joyful. Ever since he and Harvey had started their relationship, Jefferson has seemed so much more relaxed. Everyone has said as such, his friends, his family, and especially his fans. Jeff claims it's all thanks to Harvey, and maybe he does have some small part in this transformation, but not all of it.

Harvey thinks it's as simple as finally being free. Jefferson isn't tied down by the same expectations anymore. For the first time since Harvey's known him, Jeff is completely open with the world. Because what is there to hide anymore? The redhead is a prideful person, and it's clearly so liberating for him to be able to show the world his joy.

Harvey is pulled from his thoughts by a buzzing on his phone.

Message Notification: Jefferson Blake has mentioned you in their story.

He rolls his eyes fondly, tapping the screen to open up the app.

It's another video. Similarly to last time, Jeff is mouthing along to a song on the radio. However, in this instance, there's no sound on the video, which is addressed in the caption in the corner of the screen.

Guess the song! @HarveythecheeseKing will know ;)

With a silent huff of laughter, Harvey grins down at his phone, already knowing what song was being played in that car.

A few months ago, Jeff had gone on a tangent, talking about the fact that their first meeting was straight out of a romantic comedy. A chance encounter in a library, complete with toppling over each other and a case love at first sight. Then came the month of pining after a misunderstanding, and finally a dramatic love confession.

Harvey had rolled his eyes and told him to stop being stupid, but Jeff just smiled, kissed his cheek, and continued.

Amongst his musings was the acknowledgement of the fact that they didn't have a 'song'. The kind of song that couples have. The kind that they hear and are instantly reminded of each other. The kind that brings all of the feelings they have up to the surface.

Or at least, that's how Jeff describes it.

Harvey, being Harvey, didn't require much time to think, and immediately recited the name of the song that was playing the day of their love confession at a friend's birthday party.

As soon as he did, Jeff looked at him like he'd hung the moon and the stars that surrounded it.

"What?" Harvey said, his dark brown eyes looking back in confusion, "That's the song I associate with you. Whenever I hear it, I think of us. Is there... something wrong that?"

"Nothing." Jefferson told him with a soft, fond smile. Then he lifted Harvey's hand to his mouth the way he always does when he's feeling affectionate and pressed a tender kiss there.

"Gross," Harvey joked, snatching his hand away dramatically, "Feelings."

The redhead grinned, pressing his lips into the brunet's fluffy hair, "Then stop making me fall deeper in love with you."

Harvey grins to himself at the memory. Then taps the button which allows him to share the Jefferson's story to his own. He considers tagging the song too but decides against it. It's a private thing, between he and Jefferson only. He likes the idea of having this all to themselves.

Instead, he posts his story with the caption, "Too easy, dork" with a eyeroll emoji and puts his phone away for the remainder of his classes.
