Episode 14 part 1

"so...I called you two here because I need your assistance" said Luis to Pete and Tess

"In what exactly?" Asked Pete the staff

"In creating a weapon that can incapacitate or the K word any demon out there , I hope" said Luis narrowing his eyes

"Why are you calling killing "the K word"?" Asked Tess in confusion

"That's in case Luz accidentally overhears us so I can tell her I meant a different word , is that clear?" said Luis Seriously

"Oh yeah absolutely" said Pete "but why do we need that weapon again?"

"Because I feel like we're having way too many wacky adventures where a monster attacks us and we go on an adventure to defeat it or someone does something stupid and we have to fix it , so I need a way to skip to some of those things" said Luis frowning

"I see....but my name goes on the weapon!" Yelled Pete enthusiastically

"Fine" said Luis rolling his eyes

"Can my name be on the weapon too?" Asked Tess childishly

"Tess , you're more mature than this" said Luis pinching the bridge of his nose "why?"

"Hey! I'm older than most of the things on the isles!" Said Pete angrily

"Because I want attention too....and I'm only 7 years old" said Tess pouting

"Fine!... let's just start with the design" said Luis tiredly

Tess looked at Pete with smug expression , and Pete's eyes flashed red in anger

"ok , time t__" said Luis holding an empty blueprint Before Pete stole it

"We first have to write what we need it to do!" Said Pete smugly "I have a good amount of information about all kinds of demons"

"That actually sounds like a good idea , maybe we can also get King to do something useful" said Luis with a hand on his chin

Tess's screen changed from the usual cute dot eyes and mouth to a scentence

"It's war then" was the scentence that appeared on Tess's screen face

"What?" Said Pete softly in confusion as he couldn't read

Tess made a robotic hand just to facepalm

"Hey , I have several premade blueprints we can use ,so the design isn't a problem , all we need is fuel and we can easily modify them to our needs" said Tess happily

"That could also work" said Luis contemplating

Luis thought about it and it alone , disconnecting from reality , not even noticing Pete and Tess fighting next to him

The one thing he actually noticed was his school alarm

"Oh , Hexside time" said Luis as he left "see you two after school"

And once he left war broke out

"So...care to explain ,why are you sucking up to the kid?" said Pete angrily

"Hey , he was mine before you even knew who he was" said Tess frowning "I have every right to do whatever I want"

"Oh come on , I have the right to a piece of him too!" Said Pete angrily "you're just afraid I'll replace you, he hasn't been with you that much lately other than small talk"

"Hah! As if!" Said Tess rolling her eyes "he barely ever used you as a staff that is if he ever for close to holding you , you stone faced lizard"

"Oh we'll see when he comes back!" Said Pete angrily

"Absolutely" said Tess angrily

Then they both went to the kitchen to wait for Luis

"School's been cancelled" said Luis as he entered the room

"Apparently there's a pixie infestation at Hexside" said Luz as King climbed up on her head

"That sounds like a CRUMBY situation" said King Before laughing at his own joke , Luz laughed too

"Am I supposed to know about the context of that joke?" Asked Luis raising a brow

"Hey! Guess what's been in my mouth that I'm about to throw up!" Said Hoote barging in enthusiastically before vomiting "the mail!"

"I'm disturbed" said Luis frowning

"I'm delighted!" Said Tess smiling

"Oh! A carnival's in town today" said Eda happily

"A carnival , huh?" Said Luis before glancing at Tess and Pete "I guess this could be great "bonding time" with Tess and Pete ,I haven't been the best...you know ....man I hate carnivals"

He whispered the last part, but his comment got competitive faces from Tess and Pete...well only Tess since Pete doesn't have expressions

"Yeah! Let's all go!" Said Luz happily

"An adventure with friends! I'll go pack my stuff!" Said Hooty happily

"Hmm, carnivals bring crowds" said Eda contemplating

"I hate crowds" said Luis frowning

"And Crowds bring suckers , this could be my chance try my new scheme!" Said Eda happily "To the carnival"

""""""To the carnival"""""" said Everyone else but Eda and Luis

"To the carnival" said Luis in unenthusiastically

And they all ran outside , leaving Hooty alone

Then Tess ran back in the house

"I'll miss you" said Tess looking at Hooty from a far Before leaving

Hooty didn't hear anything as he was distracted by a fly
