The Little Things.......
It seems so simple, we are anything but wrong,
Us together feels right, its in your arms I belong.
My heart belongs to you, and that makes every part of me smile,
The energy you reflect upon me , well ... it makes life's pain worthwhile.
If you ask me why I love you... You may look for all the strings,
But, I don't love you for your generosity, I love you for the little things.
The way you hold me in your arms, the final moments before we sleep,
The beating of your heart .. so serene. Your passion runs so very deep.
The soft kiss on the back of my neck, that always happens when least expected,
How you wrap me up in your arms so tight, the simple pleasures you have perfected.
The random "I'm thinking of you" calls throughout the week, that makes my heart completely melt,
The passionate way you kiss my lips, what an amazing hand that we've been dealt.
I love you for those little things, that you don't even know you've done,
For all those little tiny things, that tell me your the one.
